The Conversation is a pretty sad song too. It almosts sounds like he's about to cry as he's singing it. Very emotional.
-
Oh god, that would make me so moist.

The bonus tracks of Go are WAY better than most of the actual album. And I love Circuits and Wires and Timelines too. The rest of the album is forgettable.

Better example:

I like how your tattoo has tattoos.

I fucking love playing MCS songs on drums. They always seem to be exactly perfect for what the song needs.
-
That was a really great compliment. I really appreciate that. Thanks a lot!

When I heard "What's your game?" I thought it was gonna be followed with "Who are you trying to fool here?" I'm from Vegas and I've never heard anyone ask "what's your game?" I hear a lot of "What do you like to play?" because that makes more sense.

Did you do any sound editing to it or is that the raw sound?

It means that you see your problems differently on weekdays than on weekends. So if you're super poor, then on weekends it's a very real struggle to pay your bills and stuff. That shit's fucking scary when you could lose everything. But on weekends, when your with your buds, you can fuck around with them and talk about your financial problems in a lighter. "Bro, let me pay you back in a few days, I'm hella fucking poor hahahah." /Blink Analysis

I mean, I don't go to many Blink shows, and when I do, I'm looking at Mark and Tom. So, because of that, I am more invested in the drummer that brings more to the songwriting process. To be completely honest, I don't listen to much Bad Religion, so I really don't know how good Brooks is at writing drum parts. But I do know that Travis is pretty creative at that. I really couldn't car less how well Travis fits in with the rest of the band or how much he promotes the band, because I'm only really interested in songs by themselves. So I would prefer if Travis stayed in Blink.

They almost certainly recorded the chatter on purpose to create ambiance

calling it right now, Alkaline Trio/Bayside spring tour!

No, he meant "gay" in the more informal connotation that generally signifies disappointment, rather than a strict textbook definition meaning "happy." -
Kinda surprised only because I thought I remembered him saying that he was gonna go. Not surprised because flying for 16 hours would have made him fucking stressed as a motherfucker.

Oliver, I feel like you're contradictory at times. If Fall Out Boy released a rap album, a genre that's very popular today and has many many fans, you'd call them sell-outs. If Tom recorded another AVA album, something that he knows is less popular than Blink based on record sales and tour sizes and everything else, you get pissed at him for not releasing "what people want to hear." What about what he wants to write? He's clearly very interested in that music and it would be unauthentic to record something he doesn't have a passion for. I'm just confused.

I'd cream. -
Hey man, I appreciate your kind words. I did totally rush it, because I only had a few weeks to record it. I'll take my time if I ever get around to recording more songs. Thanks again!
-
Yeah man, that's a pretty good deal if you're just looking for something to get started on. You might end up spending an extra $80 for new heads, which will be so worth it.

Yeah, the way Travis plays dumpweed live is definitely impressive, but the studio version is easier for sure. I thought about it, and I think Heart's All Gone is actually their hardest song to play. Your hands are moving nonstop and they're moving horizontally a whole lot. Then the bells on the chorus could be challenging when you try to maintain the backbeat with your left hand.
-
Dumpweed? You think so? Which part on the drums seems hard? I've never tried to learn it, but it seems all straight forward. Without thinking about it much, I would say Here's Your Letter is a tough song, because of the fills.
-
It's about 55 minutes total, but if you only have time for 2-3 tracks, I suggest These Letters Aren't Clues, Heaven is Waiting, This Isn't My Home, or She Became the Night Any feedback (positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated. Warning: terrible quality brooklyncirca1955.bandcamp.com

It already leaked. It wasn't as good as Ascension I think, but still alright. Better than YOBR and somewhat better than NWFT, I think.

Nah. It's just a precision bass right?* You can get a used Fender Precision bass for ~$300. *-Seriously, I'm not entirely sure. I'm not a bass guy.

Dave Grohl is also a perfectionist with his music. I remember reading that some of the original members of Foo Fighters quit because Dave kept asking them to re-record their parts dozens and dozens and dozens of times, and then in the end, just recorded them himself. Kind of a dick move, but it looks like it worked out in the end.
