  1. I've managed to replicate the issue on Android, looks to be browser specific. Doesn't happen with other Android browsers and works fine in Chrome on iOS. I'll send the details to the guys who build the board software and see if they can figure it out and chuck a patch in the next version. Will check out Tapatalk soon.
  2. I’ll check Tapatalk out for you once I’m back at home I’ll do some more testing with the mobile version, but I’ve just tried deleting a quote while typing and simply using backspace seems to work just fine for me. Tested on Chrome and Safari with iOS, what browser are you using?
  3. I haven't specifically tested it but the Tapatalk plugin reports that it's working normally. Are you having trouble with it? It's pretty easy to reinstall so if it's playing up I'll just do that.
  4. If others are interested we could always have options and put it to a vote, could be nice to have some user generated components to the boards.
  5. Each react can be assigned either a +1, -1 or 0 score, affecting the rep accordingly. I assigned angry and sad as 0 and the others as +1 (being able to lower someone's rep seems unnecessary). More than happy to consider changes if anybody has ideas! The icons are all customisable too, I chose the Facebook ones because they're clear and recognisable, but if anybody thinks they can find/make some better ones (100px X 100px or larger) we could mix it up a bit.
  6. Awesome, glad you folks like it. I'm pretty happy with it now that we have some blue back
  7. Alrighty, I've made some changes to the template to make it just a touch more colourful. Let me know if you guys come across anything that looks weird or out of place.
  8. Thanks for all the feedback guys! I think I've fixed all the problems you've all mentioned, let me know if you're still having issues with anything I like this! I might need to adjust some of the text colours so it fits well but I'll give this a try.
  9. I changed the like icons to be more similar to Facebook, I think a thumbs up is more universally recognised as the 'like' symbol so I've set it as such and added in 'love' for the heart
  10. Thanks, I can see that problem too so I'll follow it up and try get it fixed.
  11. Hi all, I've applied the latest update to the forum software, as it's important I keep it up to date so any security issues are patched out. It looks like in this recent update they've done a bit of a redesign of the default theme, so you will probably notice things look just a little bit different, however everything should be in the same place. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of the new look, mostly because a lot of the blue highlights have been removed so it's very monotone other than the header right up the top. I have a certain level of control over the colours throughout the forums so I might have a look at it when I get the chance and see if I can make it look a little more like it used to. If you notice any problems since this update please let me know.
  12. Sorry guys, my life is a bit ridiculous right now and I just plain haven't had the time to monitor this at all, or look at any problems. EDIT: Have just checked it out, data corruption on the DB table that holds likes/reputation. Have done a repair/optimise and it looks to be working again now. See how y'all go.
  13. Love it. As a cricket fan, this always has me in tears: And of course, Numberwang.
  14. Hahahaha perfect, give this man a job.
  15. Don't forget your namespace! Today in this thread: C++ with Blink-182 Online!
  16. Cheers @Speedo. The server itself is fine, more than adequate to handle the traffic, it's more the configuration of it that just needs to be tightened. For example, the issue today was that there was something unrelated to the website itself that was throwing errors, around 10 errors per second. This was all getting written in to a log file which grew huge due to the sheer amount of stuff it was logging. It got so large that it filled up the hard drive on the server which caused the database to close. I've since sorted this problem out so things are running smoothly again, it's just a matter of ironing out the little kinks like this.
  17. The different issues over the last week or two have all been different, pretty much unrelated. We have had more traffic than usual, which has increased the load. Nothing we can't manage, I just need to keep making sure everything is running as it should.
  18. Xenon is great, nice and heavy and the weird riff is awesome. My favourite so far is Phantom Bride, love the guest guitar from Jerry Cantrell, dude is a genius.
  19. Good pick up Speedo, sorry for not getting to this until now, time difference means I've only just gotten up. Basically I ran a small update to the forums yesterday which initiated a re-index of all posts. The update didn't warn me this was going to happen so I'm pretty annoyed about that, because a full reindex causes these problems to happen while it's running and takes forever (Close to a full day). Once this is done everything should be back to normal, and it looks like it will finish within the next couple of hours. Sorry about the downtime, next time there's an update I'll look in to ways I can avoid this from happening.
  20. Glad people are weighing in on this. We certainly won't disable sigs altogether, no point doing that when everyone has the option to turn them off in their own settings. I don't think you can hide sigs per-user, I think it's either all or none unfortunately.
  21. So this album leaked and as expected it's excellent. Deftones can do no wrong.
  22. I do agree, in fact I've always disliked how big some peoples signatures are since the day I joined this place, when you have a page with 20 posts and 15 of them are from people with huge signatures you spend more time scrolling past the same images over and over than you do reading actual posts. I've had signatures hidden for a long time so it's not something that I've thought about since I've been an admin, but I'm definitely happy to consider placing limits on it if people can agree on it. Due to the nature of web pages it's difficult to place a specific size limit, however I can put together a combination of the following which would place a solid limit: Maximum size of images in signature Maximum number of images in signature Maximum number of lines of text in signature. So for example, if we were to set the maximum height of images to 200px, only allow one image and only allow up to 5 lines of text a signature could be no larger than the following: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Personally I think that's still a little too big, but just an example as to how it could work. Interested to hear other peoples thoughts, I can bring this up with Aria and Vic and if there's enough support we could put it to a vote.
  23. This was mine too. I secretly still love it. Livin' in a Bubble is a great jam.
