Worst poster here
Looks like the emojis are a countdown for days until the single drops. Should be released on Friday if true
Elisa
It's called Battery Charge and I'm very curious about what it'll sound like. I can't wait to listen to it tomorrow.

Cool guitar and some decent melodies but didn’t seem to flow that well, especially in the first half. I’ve only listened on my phone speakers so that might be part of the issue.

My post-midnight snap reaction is that it sounds like a Brian Fallon solo song that was jacked up and given the Gaslight treatment. The production is not that great and I wish the chorus was a little more punchy, but maybe it'll grow on me.

It sounds like the vocals and music are from two different songs.

It wouldn’t be a big deal if this wasn’t the first TGA song in like 7-8 years, but the hype was a bit higher for me. I’m hoping the rest of the album (assuming they are recording a new album) is better. I’m curious to see who is producing it.

I listened to it again twice, once this morning and now, but I haven't changed my mind. What's good though is that I've always seen them as an "album band", so maybe it will sound better in context of a couple more songs. The album is coming out in the summer, but it hasn't been announced yet and Peter Katis allegedly produced it. It's the guy who produced almost all the albums of The National and Interpol and it seems a weird choice for The Gaslight Anthem?

Some of his songs clearly have that influence in them (the softer parts of Stay Vicious).
Fountain of Cum
Get hyped! New song featuring Springsteen and new album History Books for Oct 27. The latter half of this song is pretty sick
givemeyoureyes
The third song from the new album has now been released. I think this is my favorite of the three songs that have been released so far. The Gaslight Anthem - Little Fires

There’s a style in the production of Positive Charge and Little Fires that reminds me of Halloween off Get Hurt. Really looking forward to this album though! October is going to be an amazing month for new music
