Aria Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Cause why make up something that is just gonna stir a bunch of shit up?
fuckin Cackey64 is BACK! Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I don´t think so. Ava isn´t nearly as famous as blink. Tom likes fame, money and attention. And he gets so much more of this with blink-182. And he knows that, plus the fact that he knows that he doesn´t have to end ava. family is his #1. sucks but true
Nickduuude Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 if people really thought ava was dead after the whole blink thing, your in for a let down, and i know a bunch of people felt that way. you can't be too surprised when blink stuff is pushed aside, they have prior obligations, such as AVA, which would be a pretty big one. regardless, blink is back together. and before we even knew they were back together, a lot of people said they would be happy just them being friends. just need to be optimistic and patient.
Choppy182 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 according to david kennedy -Summer tour 2009 -Fall 2009; blink-182 break, Tom resumes AvA record. -Early 2010 AvA record drops -Spring 2010 AvA tour; small break after tour -Summer 2010 blink-182 recording starts; release slated for fall/winter 2010 so late next year release for the album i for one am pretty pissed off we were led to believe a lot was happening with blink i accepted the tour then bit of time off then album dropped early next...but now this has pissed me off being from australia i wont get to see them till 2011 now there have been rumours floating around in the australian press that Blink 182 are headlining Big Day Out next year which is in January, February..
Blink2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 if this is true, this sucks. but i would like to see a Mark Hoppus solo record once Tom gets back to AVA
dildo69er Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 DAVID DIDN'T SAY THIS! He just said AVA would be touring next year. If he didn't say that, and dildo69er is lying, I am really mad. im clearly not lying i took what was said in the ava thread from someone and reposted it for people in the blink section to see...so dont accuse me of lying thx

0rt3x Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I always had a bad feeling about AvA, I just didn't understood how Tom always could have been talking about "I don't want to play atst anymore, I've grown up", and then suddenly he's playing it again but he doesn't leave AvA. It never made sense
Guest THillingworth Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Dildo what you took from the ava thread wasn't true
dildo69er Posted July 20, 2009 Author Posted July 20, 2009 Dildo what you took from the ava thread wasn't true well if it wasnt i apologize i just took what one person said and copied and pasted it as it had blink related news...so question is why would that person lie?
Guest THillingworth Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 He didn't even claim David said it though

Cause that schedule sucks. Not completely unexpected, but still shitty.
M!ke Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I get the impression this will be AVA'S swan song, so whatevez, let it run its course, then it will be all blink, plus, the more time there is to finish the album, the better it will be. And finally, I'm just glad they're back, the fact that I'll see them twice and get a new song is far more than I could ever ask for.
fran.182 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 This scared me as hell. Good to know it's not true.
eyeamthu1 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Me too... but I'm still really worried about just how long it'll be til they do a full world tour. I have this gut feeling though that they'll play Leeds/Reading in the UK next year, so I think I'm gonna gamble and buy some early-bird tickets for that, right after this year's fest is done. But yeh, I kinda think a full world tour may be a little further away than some of us were hoping... As for the album, I'm sure they're going to want to get it out as soon as they can, without rushing it obviously. I'd say this time next year, or perhaps a tad earlier is a good shout for the release date.
blinkplanet Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 my thoughts (correct me if i'm wrong) : Summer 2009 : Blink tour Fall/Winter 2009 : Tom in studio with both AVA and blink Early 2010 : AVA Record + Tour + Blink Festivals Mid 2010 : Blink Record + World tour
