CatDude Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 If I was Tom I would sue the members of this board that are accusing him of recycling riffs. Quote
Theorangemisfit Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Fucking Cheshire Cat has a recycled riffs on it... 1 Quote
Bucko Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 I’m not arsed about recycled riffs. As long as there’s a long enough gap and it sounds good I don’t mind. Quote

CuteBilly182 Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 All the examples in that video are horse shit Real situations where he re-used a riff: - Anthem Part II (Intro) and Adams Song (chorus, same riff in the background, very faint) - The End With You, Easy Target, & All of This (obvious which part I'm talking about) only ones I can really think of right now that are legitimate now if we are talking Skiba, theres a few instances of the same octave pattern in alkaline trio: - Private Eye (main riff), Jaked On Green Beers (breakdown before final chorus), If We Never Go Inside (bridge) think i'm forgetting one more for those Quote

Alf Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Well, the most obvious is AVA's Everything is Magic = Anthem Part 2, but was it the first- I don't know. Quote
