Homage, tribute, tomato, tomatoe, doesn’t matter. A turd is a turd. MGK is all style and no substance. I bet you think his pink guitar and painted fingernails are sooooo cool

Thanks for understanding my metaphor!

I'm actually not sure if that was a metaphor ... I was always trash in English class.

I mean that seemed to be the general consensus around and had good success.  Obviously it's subjective.

General consensus amongst you, Mr. Taylor Swift himself, and two other people on a blink 182 message board? LOL

That’s where I was pointing at. To me it wasn’t even the best “former rapper starts doing pop punk” album of the year. Can’t stand MGKs voice, plus the amount of tuning makes me nauseous

I wonder if the swelling in his tongue ever went down?

MGK is a long time pop punk fan, there's a video from 2011 where he met blink 182. You can stop lying about him being fake

No one said he wasn't a pop punk fan ... don't you have a Denny's special to be getting to, boomer?

This means absolutely nothing lol. Good Charlotte wore Casualties shirts in their videos, does that make them street punk?

I had liberty spikes for awhile in high school.  I was way too cool for blink and pop punk for a decent period, all thanks to Benji rocking Casualties merch lmao.

Speaking of trash pop punk ... anyone hear the new NoFX?

Fucking jeepers, it suuuuuuuuucks.

MGK had a better album than them, so there's that.

You'll never hear me say this again but they could probably use Feldmann and a little co-writing magic.

NoFX was soooo good back in the day but yeah that dude sucks.  Kind of how I'd picture Speedo in real life if he made it in music ngl.

I mean, sure, I'll take the weird sex and money.

That's fair, but I was just pointing at the general reception it received was a successful one.  Honestly, Travis is a big reason why I like it so much (and I'm not huge on Travis) the production and variety of stuff they tributed was really cool to me.

It's not a tribute, Jan ... its a "nod".

Again, this doesn’t mean shit. So the industry is promoting MGK right now, big deal. He wouldn’t be anything if his fans didn’t think he was so hot and cute. There’s a reason he got that hair transplant.

You wanna know who else had a #1 record? Milli Vanilli. That’s right. #1. Creed, Nickelback, NSYNC, and Backstreet Boys all have records that went diamond. So your point is moot.
