We went from “from the imagination of Tom Delonge” to “from the imagination of BLINK-182’s Tom Delonge”. Cleary rejoined the band just to flog his movies easier.

I will definitely pirate this and watch it.

I can't give him the benefit of the doubt.  I know he started this movie thing before blink reunited, but he just had to drop the movie a day after Dance With Me and 2 weeks before the album..

He's shown a lot of maturity to commit to blink equally as much as his other endeavors this time, so it's like night and day, but it still is annoying in my opinion.

I don't want to be lectured on this either, I get it, it's just the way he is would drive me crazy as a business partner/bandmate.

Then again, Mark could be more supportive about it and all would be good too.

I know fuck all about the movie business and shit so I could be very wrong but I assume getting it into cinemas and ready for release on digital doesn’t just happen. It’s probably planned months in advance and probably chosen by whoever is financing it or whatever rather than the director.

It's interesting how the actual album has had very little press but everything we have heard about it press wise has been next to Tom promoing the film.

Like tom's done loads of interviews about the film lately, and talking about blink, but blink havent really done any press apart from the zane lowe interview we havent heard yet.

I'd have a go at Tom for using blink to promote the film but oddly he's the most vocal about the record so... weirdly makes it easier to swallow. He hasn't been like "enough about blink, lets talk about this movie" he's been "im doing both, it's rad" which is different than he used to be.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, I think in the past when blink first reunited (2009 to 2015) and he was pushing AvA. He'd have stipulations in AvA related interviews where they couldn't ask about blink or if someone did bring blink up then he'd try to shift focus back to whatever AvA was doing at the time.

It's cool to see Tom's pretty chill about things these days.

Out of like the 10 theaters that were posted this would be in today mine is one of them in FL like 5 minutes down the road.  I really don't have any interest to see this beyond streaming, but feel like i have to just because i'm lucky enough of have it in a theater near me.  Hmmm

Yeah, I'd go for the fun of it... Who knows, maybe Tom (and his companies) might be giving out exclusive merch to those who see it in the movie theatres? I know some movies do that.

Goddamn if it was that close to me I'd definitely go see it.

Well, compared to most of the other shit that ends up in theaters these days (reboots, sequels, MCU movies (and I even like those for the most part)), it is refreshing to see fresh and unique indie movies make their way to the theaters (even in a very limited capacity) instead of only being dumped directly to some obscure streaming platform.  Will this be any good? I dunno, but I'm absolutely willing to give this a chance before just about anything else coming to theaters before the end of the year.

Any aussies that have Amazon account know if it's actually on there on the Aussie Amazon? Or only US?

Is it streaming on Amazon in the US? Or do you still have to pay/rent it or whatever?

Just checked, you have to rent or buy.  Renting is (at a discount) $5.49.  Owning is (also at a discount) $13.49.

Lame. Would’ve set up a free trial if it was streaming. I’ll wait for it to pop up somewhere online. Hopefully it’s not obscure enough to not get ripped and torrented. I’ve checked a few and haven’t found it yet.

I saw LOVE in theaters and that was… not good. But there was a cool live performance and interview streamed live to the theater at the end. That part was kind of cool.

This doesn’t look good but I am still kinda curious, will probably rent it on Amazon.

This looks soooo much better than Love though.  Also, I always loved that Dreamwalker animated short.  Could have watched a whole movie of that one. Love absolutely sucked though, not gonna argue with that.
