'Ah...Lex' 529
I'm about 95 percent sure they won't show blinks performance tomorrow.
MSandt 1268
Stop overgeneralizing, you're assuming all feminists are radical feminists when there are plenty of legitimate and reasonable forms of feminism. The very term implies radicalism.
Tom Bot 3525
The very term implies radicalism. Because they need to compensate for the big gap in equality over the last few centuries?

MSandt 1268
Because they need to compensate for the big gap in equality over the last few centuries? It's not like any of these contemporary internet feminists were even around to experience any of the real gender oppression that occured "over the last few centuries". Which is why they try to manufacture all these fake crises now.
Capsov 2213
I'm about 95 percent sure they won't show blinks performance tomorrow. Haven't there been multiple tweet replies to fans from BBC confirming they were going to show it?

Edit - I'll try to stop derailing the topic, just annoying when a few bad apples ruin a good cause (feminism) and people like MS overgeneralize based on those people. MSandt 1268
Employment rates and income differences are still in favour of men regardless of higher education rates for women. Due to different life choices. Women working the same jobs as men with the same amount of hours and experience are paid the same. There is no discrimination whatsoever.
boxelder 4665
sounds like NME needs some ad revenue. fuck those guys. they're a shit publication and always have been. you can say you dislike dick jokes. who cares. but asserting that several sophomoric jokes is part of some underlying sexist bullshit is stupid.
rbbie 64
Every time somebody comments on this board about sexism Laura wright wins. Don't let Laura win lol

dildo69er 1698
so when is this supposed to kick off?
Cookies 144
Due to different life choices. Women working the same jobs as men with the same amount of hours and experience are paid the same. There is no discrimination whatsoever. Choices. One of those "choices" is maternity leave. I don't know if unequal pay for completely equal workers is a thing, I've heard different people saying different things, but one thing is for sure; women fall behind on the job ladder because to have children they have to carry and give birth to that child. That's not really a life choice.
Cookies 144
And also, I'm disgusted at some of the comments on Lisa Wright here, a man who gave a stupid review would not have been spoke about like that. Just reminds me why feminism is still necessary.
dildo69er 1698
A guy would have been ripped just as hard. She basically screams I have never liked Blink-182 and this will give me some clicks
Capsov 2213
A guy would have been ripped just as hard. She basically screams I have never liked Blink-182 and this will give me some clicks Exactly, this shitty tantrum of a review just happened to be written by a woman. We are not saying it was a shitty review just because it was written by a woman. We are saying it is shitty because it is actually shitty.

Someone called her a slag, I don't know why her supposed promiscuity had to be brought into the equation. And that's mild compared to the other things said.
decisions 438
That review was terrible, but I do dislike the aggressive tone of some of the comments about the author. However, the misogyny comment she made was ridiculous and proves why modern feminism is stupid. The fact the she can recognize that they are jokes and decides to you use them to add to some "just cause for women's equality" is stupid. If there is actually discrimination in employment and income, then that's what feminists should be about.
