I don’t know. The video on the stall page still says song and video out at various times across the world. It’s definitely weird.

I changed my location to NZ using a vpn and the time on the stall didn’t change.

Okay just manually set the time to 11:18pm and it did this.

seems like the stall counter just matches whatever your device says the time is until midnight Thursday. Doubt it means we will get the song then unfortunately. The times in the video teaser are most likely the ones to go by.

Maybe the original idea was to release the song at midnight on Thursday and that's why they set this up, then there was a change of plans, but instead of changing the stall countdown they added a new one on the home page?

I imagine you also tried setting your device’s date/time to Thursday already to see what would happen

The timer is based on your time, it doesn’t trigger the release.

Def, but was kind of curious what the timer would do.  Some web applications have logic to render things differently on the web page depending on your system time.

 

I doubt they’d be dumb enough to expose it through that. But kind of curious if the timer does more than just 00:00:00
