I hate hate this new marketing ploy.  It was fun as hell for OMT, I'll admit, but it spoiled the shit out of the album and can I finally say the word?  Overhyping is a thing, no way we're going to be not oversold again after a blue ball of a blue ball method they keep doing to keep people hyperfocused and obsessed instead of a nice little surprise every once in a while?

8 songs, 6 of which we've heard over 1/4 of each song.  Just like OMT with the flood of singles/snippets leading up to it spoiled it a ton.

I mean it's a blatant cash grab, par for the course with albums these days. I'm excited to hear some new songs, but I don't consider it overhyped at all. If anything my hype level is pretty low, songs are bound to exceed expectations for me at this point.

I just feel like if any of them were like elite or something they'd have been on the album to begin with

How is it overhyped? This is the first official announcement of the deluxe. With a clear release date. Nothing like OG album time.
