Knapppers Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Really hope this book spills the beans. I know they kinda opened up pretty good in the Zane Lowe interview so I don’t know how much left there is to tell, but let’s hope this is good. 3 Quote

Sgt. Rainbow Posted February 26 Posted February 26 I hope to learn that Mark’s bachelor party was even wilder and sleazier than Travis’s! Quote
Speedo Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Marks pretty big on his image and PR, I doubt there’s going to be anything salacious or sensational. Quote

Champ182 Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Mark is one of the most famous swear-word-sayers in the biz, I can't imagine this being some kind of whitewashed PG version of his life haha. Dan Ozzi isn't that type of writer either. But I also don't really expect it to be like a "Funniest Stories In Blink 182 History!" thing either, especially since they already covered a lot of the earlier days in Tales From Beneath Your Mom. I think Mark probably set out to write something very real and from the heart (which will most likely also have plenty of hilarious stories and bad words). Stuff I expect from this book: 1. Stories from growing up, more about his family dynamic, etc 2. More in-depth stories about the actual creative process of Blink throughout the years 3. No-holds-barred accounts of the drama and breakups, I just don't think that can be sidestepped in a book like this 4. Fighting cancer 5. The final reunion Whatever it turns out to be, I cannot wait to read it. I never had any interest in Travis's book, but I'll buy this and read it right when it comes out. 5 1 Quote
boxelder Posted February 26 Author Posted February 26 Travis’s book underrated. Great ghostwriter. Pretty no holds barred which is what you want from a rock bio. 3 Quote

Yea I’ve seen a few people here trash Travis’s book but I enjoyed it a lot. It was cool to read the progression of his life. He was always destined to make it big as a drummer and it was cool to read his story of destiny. 1 Quote
