Ghost Posted October 12, 2024 Posted October 12, 2024 Any thoughts? I started to listen to it but didn't finished. Quote
Low Value Boy Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 If I could pick a dream Offspring set where I pick my 17-18 favourite songs of theirs it would be fucking awesome to see them live. Shame there is so much dross as well in their catalogue that I would probably have to listen in between the few songs that I'd actually want to hear. Quote
twentytwenty Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 I enjoyed Ok, but this is the last time. But the mixing on this album is awful to me, kinda took away the enjoyment. Which was a problem the last album had as well. Other than that, the songwriting doesn’t feel as inspired on the last two albums as it was up to days go by, to me. Quote

Like I said, I think Dexter and Noodles kicking Greg K out of the band (which we found out about because of Greg K suing them) might have wrecked this band. I know people here aren't fans of this band, but I was and can see how the quality fell off after they did Greg dirty like that. I think in some ways Greg was holding them accountable when it came to music quality in the band and they didn't like that so they got rid of him and they've released questionable music (and have done odd things) since his removal. I’m a big fan, always been. And I think they sound better live than ever right now. With that said it can greg could have had a big influence on the songwriting, but it can also just be age. Also, with a better production the last albums might’ve been better. Quote
