_Kyle_ Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 this song, while being from the 80s, always sounded like it was a homage to the 80s in terms of sound. Quote
Speedo Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 I had this song in my head this morning ... I'm not proud, I'm not ashamed, it is what it is and I accept that. Quote

I only heard about them when my cousin would take me to Christian movie night at his church. they had tons of posters for TOBYMAC. this was like 2004 I wanna say. they said "you haven't heard of TobyMac or DC Talk????!!". It was a bit of a culture shock for both parties. anything created at Liberty University is probably horseshit at best. I stayed away Quote
Speedo Posted February 27, 2019 Posted February 27, 2019 I have no idea who TobyMac is, I can't say I've ever heard the name. My parents aren't religious so I didn't grow up in that circle, the only reason I know of DC Talk is 'cause that Jesus Freak song above was playing constantly on the radio here for a few weeks. Quote
_Kyle_ Posted February 27, 2019 Author Posted February 27, 2019 he's the Phil Collins of DC Talk I guess you could say Quote
