To be fair, you enjoy Imagine Dragons ?

Whether you like the songs or not or you aren’t a fan of that style of production, Feldmann is amazing at what he does. You can’t really argue otherwise.

I saw she named SOOHM as the second most iconic blink song to I Miss You, in her opinion. ♥️

Didn't she do the Piano part on shes out of her mind?

That's what I thought. So it didn't really shock me when she called that her favorite.

Huh, I don't remember that at all. My memory is fuzzy (percs) but I remember endless delays, especially with California, and when they did finally release new material, they hardly played it on tour.

They scrapped an entire album before Feldman came on board and wrote it for them.

um dude they pretty much played all of Cali throughout tour. I think there's only a handful of songs from the album that never got played.

Despite my complaining about their false timeline, I actually think it's a good sign that the album was delayed. I'd rather get something that they put their all into than something hastily churned out. Still annoyed that they announced a tour for it and didn't follow through though. Collected 84 million dollars but didn't deliver fully on the promise. Shouldn't have said anything about the album if it wasn't 100% coming out then.

The tour grossed $85 million. Someone on Reddit said Mark, Tom and Travis most likely walked away with only $8 million each so they are probably struggling artists.

You know it’s pretty crazy I read that article about the $85 million and then I ran my tour calculation and that’s exactly what I came up with 8.5 million a piece pretax. To arrive at what each member makes you generally take 30% of the gross and then divided by the three members that usually works without fail. It doesn’t include all money they made off merchandise

Remember though buildings often times take cuts of merch sales as well.

Yeah and judging by the lines I saw at the merch stands at my two shows I’m sure they made a good chunk of change.

Pretty sure it was Jan that brought it up again. Discussion is so tired I'm literally sick of it. Almost as bad as talking about "woke."

Anyway, Cali was a banger. That was an amazing summer

You brought it up!!  Came on here saying how swift and expeditious the California era was under Feldy compared to current doomsday times.

California era is what it is.  Nothing to brag about the speedy process if the music is sub-par if not pretty poor.

The delays prove they care about putting out quality imo. Not only that but they just seem to be in the best mindset about each other too. Super secure in everything that’s happened etc. They gave a shout out to atom Willard just the other night, mentioned him being in angels and now alk3 and how skiba was in blink and alk3 and how they’re all just one big messed up family. That shit wouldn’t happen first reunion when they were on eggshells the whole time. They all cool now.

Only way the album sucks imo is if they just can’t write good songs anymore. Can’t see that happening.

"No way, no, I leave the broken-hearted
Oh, no, look at the mess we started
Oh, no, I leave the broken hearts this way
Whatcha say? (Whatcha say?) Wanna play?"

Just saying..I'm still cautiously optimistic.  Need to hear at least another song to judge but I can't imagine a full album taking this much time and focus is all bad or not having at least a few complete gems.  I'm expecting an okay level of blink music but okay with that!

I don't love the style but he's absolutely put a lot of bands on his back and consistently makes a loud and big sound for bands that probably need it.  Goldfinger - Used - modern bands.  They rely on him a lot.

Just stay away from our blink music - doesn't fit well if they are following vs blazing the path.

Dead horse though.

I love Goldfinger though.  Fight me.

Why does everyone need to love California/Nine so much?  Not everyone loves Neighborhoods.  Love that album.  Also listen to Cali/Nine more than most on here I bet.

Calls mentally ill for not liking an album/era yet is outraged by another's opinion.

On music preference..

Go figure

It's ancient history. More time has passed between that era and now than passed between untitled and the first reunion. Time to let it go.

Those who enjoy it will continue to enjoy
