That’s actually really good. Rock isn’t really popular anymore and I just checked to see where Paramore and FOB latest singles ended up and they were nowhere near entering the top 40.

For context they've had 12 top 40, only 2 top 10's. It ended up 20 places higher than up all night and 3 higher than edging. MTYK charted at 99.

Tf. I never realised what's my age again was actually the first single from enema. Reached 38 in Oct 99, then after ATST it was released and reached number 17.

Yeah the two top 10s were 20 years ago when rock was actually mainstream. Honestly I’m amazed they’ve hit number 28. If radio actually played it I’m convinced people would love it and it go even higher

More context. Paramore are considered one of the biggest alternative/pop bands in the world and hard times reached 34 and this is why reached 61.

Looking at Blink’s performance over the years in the UK charts they smashed it out the park. Very successful band

I specifically remember driving in my parents car in 1999 and loved hearing WMAA on the radio. Then ATST came out and got even bigger. I didn't like it nearly as much, but still enjoyed

Dammit live was the b side to my ATST cassette. It had a colourful little sleeve in a similar vein to the Enema cover

What temperature did your parents keep the car at? I need to know to better understand this.

I’m a youngin, I clearly remember catching ATST all the time on the boombox radio and possibly thinking WMAA was a different band, then finding Dammit and Josie videos on the youtube and getting hooked for life.
