It’s the “all timer” part that really gets me.

Jan, the blink fan that doesn’t like carousel, going away to college or dance with me, one of his favourite Mark lines is one that isn’t even real.

its like poetry.

Seeping through is hilarious but I am confused that Fap hasn’t listened to +44

I used to think it was "Fell in love with the girl in the mountains". I even knew the song was called "The Rock Show". This takes me back to camp when I walked around with a cast unable to participate in camp activities singing "fell in love with the girl in the mountains" after I broke my wrist on 9/11.

It's a heck of a lot easier to program something and mix something on a computer than to do it live on turntables.  That takes skill, programming and mixing things on computers is not hard and there is time to fix your mistakes.  You are correct in your thinking on this subject!

Rhino out of left field! Thank you for this lol. Normally I’d be humble but thong annoyed me and provoked me for two day straight, being a pompous ass

thong in shambles. Eat your L, apologize, and let’s move on 😄

You still have to mix it live if you use a laptop though. If you're mixing live and not just doing the DJ equivalent of lipsyncing. I've never denied that technology can be helpful though.

What if you’re doing everything live, but on a computer with digital turntables and stuff?

I have. But only liked a couple songs and never listened to the rest again. The album is bland

I didn’t care much for it when it first came out but it grew on me a couple of years ago and it’s been enjoyable for me since. I have to be in a chill mood though, it’s not something I put on for energy.

Mark has trouble getting a decent guitar tone on his solo stuff. It always sounds so flat and muddy. The distortion on No It Isn't and Baby Come On kinda ruins the songs.

Yea exactly. And I’m unlike others here, I don’t get off on his lyricism. Sometimes simple is better. It’s not like it’s that complex or brilliant anyways. If Jan thought Rock Show had layers and was brilliant, I can’t imagine what he misconstrued on +44 😂🤣

Lillian sounds beautiful, I get the heavier bits don’t work as well but the album has some great moments.

Wait so Jan really thought the lyric was "She's so cool that it's seeping through the window?" Like no troll? 😂

Better than the real line tbf

It did cross my mind that it was a great troll. It still could be. The lyric makes absolutely zero sense , even with Jan’s explanation of his thought process lol

Nah man it makes perfect sense. It's like her presence is so strong that he can't keep it out of his thoughts. It's like a fog that's coming through the windows even in his own bedroom and he can't escape it.
