MSandt
Njah, wasn't that good, but this acoustic stuff usually isn't so it could sound much better with distortion.
stfnkrgr
this riff is SICK thats exactly the way i'd like the new blink to sound. good contiuation of th s/t let's hope it won't/didn't end up as some spacy ava intro in a way we don't even recognize it anymore
blame182
someone commented that video saying that this video is old so.. whatever
Guest iamheartworm
Jesus fucking Christ ... who are these kids? How was that riff "sick"? Listen to The Locust.
stfnkrgr
dude you're on a blink board. it's obvious the people here like simple but catchy riffs like that one. if you prefer that locust noise go get a new board...
iSimon
No. That's not blink. Tom played that on Modcam, last year. November to be precise. Checked my iTunes.
stfnkrgr
last november... could still be used for blink. i think tom said back in the days that he'd worked on the not now riff around the recording of take off your pants and jacket already.. I listen to all types of music. It's a shame that you do not. Also, I first joined this message board in 2002 & have made many - what I consider - great friends on here, hence why I continue to use the board. I like Blink & always will, but that riff fucking blew & I'm glad it's old.
thongrider
its not even that good... agreed, but If the song itself is good I think it sounds suitable.
Guest GrandpaReefer
its not even that good... agreed, but If the song itself is good I think it sounds suitable. obviously, some of their best shit has the most simple guitar parts. I was just saying that riff isn't "sick" or even above average for that matter. But since Tom Delonge is playing it everyone is like "OMFG! Did you hear that!? thats so fuckin rad dude"

Grouch
Just because it's from November doesn't mean it can't be used as a Blink song/riff. It's not like when they decided they were gonna get back together Mark & Tom didn't have any ideas already floating around ready to use. It'd be naive to think they're just starting everything completely from scratch.
