Tom really must’ve made a huge change in his life to agreeing to being on the road this much, because I know he hated it for so long. It’s honestly great to see them so active Yeah, he divorced Jen. Nah, joking. I think they just learnt the lesson properly. That's what it seems genuinely when they say it in interviews. 1 Quote
Thibaut182 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Never before released footage, the third angle from that Atlanta show! 2 Quote
Scott. Posted April 14 Posted April 14 That clip of the lady signing ATST karaoke with Tom in the bar listening is brilliant. 1 Quote
SB-182 Posted April 14 Posted April 14 the coachella show was a pretty special show for toms return, and i guess it was green days turn this time lol Quote

Drama-Free Jan Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Blink’s return on Coachella was by far my favorite part of the reunion minus the actual album drop (sort of - 6 songs dropped prior was a bit much) Also hearing Anthem 3 on the stall 4 Quote

allsystemsgo Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Just finished the Toby Morse podcast with Tom. Was good until they got into the alien stuff. God it sounds like such bullshit. Plus Tom saying he released 12 books. Bro, you're just the money guy, you didn't write shit. 2 Quote

I kind of follow him when he’s talking about speaking stuff into existence though, I think there’s some truth to that mindset 1 Quote
Sun God Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Tbf if I became an immortal rock God off of playing power chords and singing about dicks I’d probably become whacked out too lmfao 1 1 Quote
Sun God Posted April 15 Posted April 15 The lamest part of that interview was when Tom was slamming bands for getting extra musicians on stage… “just put it on a track dude” yea Tom….we know that’s what you do 🤣🤣🤣. Some people just appreciate real live music. It’s people like @Locean Breeze - Jan who white knight for backing tracks who are to blame for A.I. overtaking music. Y’all accepted this, not me. Quote
thongrider Posted April 15 Posted April 15 No thanks to extra guitarists and backing tracks for shows. A keyboardist or orchestra is fine. 1 Quote

Nothing wrong with real musicians playing live music on stage. Making backing tracks the norm is a horrible thing for rock and will only push for more computers and AI in the future. It’s a clear progression Quote

Sun God Posted April 15 Posted April 15 11 minutes ago, Locean Breeze - Jan said: Backing tracks aren't AI you clown. Read what I said, pal. First of all, It’s a clear step toward AI. You’re giving the thumbs up to artists not playing real live music which is a clear progression to allowing AI have its space in music. And we can call this a progression because there was certainly a time that if a rock band did this in years past they’d get cancelled and laughed off stage with a quickness. Now it’s somewhat widely accepted. (There are still plenty of artists and fans who have their integrity intact despite people’s claims on this website). If you can’t see that progression then please don’t ever pretend to be a historian. And what’s the difference between AI and a backing track anyways? Explain. What’s the difference when it’s a non-human “playing” the music you’re hearing and the artist is faking to play? I’m not talking about some obscure piano backing track I’m talking about guitar backing tracks that play while the guitarist is not. Quote
