If you took the Foo Fighters, died their hair bleach blonde and gave them a line of coke and a laptop. Aka, middle aged dudes having a mid life crisis. “Middle aged dudes having a midlife crisis” goes on to talk about how Built This Pool is brilliant and totally not the same thing. your hypocrisy and bullshit is showing again, bud Quote

Glad to see the pedo defenders are still going strong around here though! One of the greatest albums ever (possibly the best) has almost no songs where the band plays their instruments and the songwriter wrote all the songs lamenting he had to settle for a girl in her mid-teens when he wanted her younger sister instead, but got another guy to write the lyrics. 1 Quote

And that doesn’t apply to MGK. I have no clue what you’re talking about. But “best” does not apply to MGK’s music in any sense Quote

Even if he wasn’t a pedophile, his music is still ass and manufactured. Double whammy! Quote

I can't stand that song lmao. Tbf Neighborhoods also had duds, its not just post Cali. Blink haven’t written a solid album since untitled. 1 Quote
allsystemsgo Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 This may sound pessimistic, but I think blink has two more albums left in them. I can't see them going beyond that. Quote
thongrider Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 Last solid album was Enema. The duds came with the new millenium. Quote

I don’t want to see them singing about how nobody likes you when you’re 83. Quote

This reminds me of one the shows I saw when they were out here and during WMAA some chick in the crowd near me kept turning around to face everyone and hold her hands out and shout “nobody like you when your THIRTY FIVE” like she thought she was special for being older and needed to let everyone know. 2 1 Quote

I'd say at MOST they have 20 more years as a band left, especially if they stick to the legacy act like the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, etc., but I think another decade of the band is what we'll get. Perhaps another album and an EP. God forbid if one of them passes suddenly. At that point the band would definitely end I think. Quote
Coightstradamus Posted August 4, 2025 Posted August 4, 2025 I can’t see them calling it quits anytime soon. They’ve all got the reinvigorated energy and seem at peace. 1 Quote

You people really think they are going to make some revolutionary album still? LOL Quote

And the Stones haven't really had that many original members. Quote
