Just that I don’t really see it as a fragile ecosystem anymore. Everybody’s chill. Yup maybe a different phrase would be better? I totally agree with what you said, I just feel like they JUST regained their magical spark that had been missing for 20 years, they're playing off of each other so well personally and musically like the old days, why introduce an outside element to that? But again, it was awesome and probably really meaningful for all of them in different ways to play that song together last night! 2 Quote

I do think the band is in a good place overall but I do think it could potentially throw a cat amongst the pigeons if Skiba did become more heavily involved. 1 Quote

Yeah to be fair I was more stirring the Tombots with the 4piece thing than being fully serious. Whilst I think it would create some amazing music I don’t see it happening at all. Maybe a blink/trio tour and they add a few more Cali/Nine songs to the set and bring Matt out for those would be the closest thing I could see them doing to make it a 4piece. 3 Quote

Think it’s been proven time and time again that things are absolutely great in the blink camp. They’re doesn’t seem to be any egos or issues hanging around at all these days. I mean we just had Tom Delonge drop his guitar onstage and hug his replacement as they played a song from the albums Tom wasn’t apart of. Not to mention b playing a boxcar song live too. Shits fucking great. The only fragile ecosystem I know of, is this place since you took over as a mod.. Quote

Sure as a one off it's a fun thing but throw all four of them in into a full-time band with an extra frontman and it could throw the dynamic off. The best music they've ever made is with Mark, Tom and Travis. I think they can do the odd cameo here and there when the time is right bit the four of them as a full time band just wouldn't work. They're at their most organic when they are the the post Rayner trio. Level this up one step further and just get rid of Travis. This would create a whole new writing spell for Tom & Mark circling back to where it all started. No more drums to cover up any moments just straight vibing Dude Ranch style but after experience. I would cry, no joke 1 1 Quote

Bucks Erasers - Pacers Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Honestly Landon Barker should join as blink’s second guitarist and another singer to work with. 1 1 1 Quote

Dude Ranch is most certainly blink, and Travis was basically a session drummer for Enema (his words, not mine) and plenty was written before he got there so. Try again. 1 Quote

boxelder Posted February 15 Posted February 15 i skimmed the entire palladium show out of curiosity after someone on reddit said they were fighting. they're definitely not fighting, though tom was pretty wasted and his vocals show it. mark gestures to travis before aliens exist in awe of how drunk he is. other than that, it's not particularly vicious or anything. mark does his typical anodyne "wasn't it better when tom quit" joke that he did at every show. he apologies for tom before down, and seems pretty annoyed most of the time tbf. tom himself seems peeved the lack of audience response before he botches the WMAA intro lmao. at one point after edging mark does get PISSED at the sound guy for cutting tom's vocals during the banter... i guess mark had requested that tom's vocals be turned off for the songs themselves, but the sound guy wasn't clicking him back on in-between the songs, which was frustrating. but it didn't seem directed at tom. before more than you know mark jokes that tom could be cut again and tom says "put me louder in his ears", but none of it seems mean-spirited. prior to can't go back, tom DOES make an unusually graphic comment about skye, but it doesn't seem to make mark wince or anything. i don't think it's out of the realm of things they've said in the past. m&ms sounds sooo sick though. 2 1 1 Quote

But it's not like he has a drinking problem. That would only be the case if he told you he had to drive 21 miles every day to see his new girlfriend. Actually, make that 42 miles. And you could only assume that if he mentioned he only drank on Fridays, when he wasn’t with her. Lol No need to drag boxelder into your weird nonsense. 3 1 Quote
