I could be laid off tomorrow or suffer some major setback. I got people who depend on me. I would love to see them again, along with the trio, but it would be selfish on my part. it's not the end of the world, but I find it kind of funny it's less responsible to go see them now than when I was 14 with a bunch of college kids back in the early 00s. I can only pray to Jerry Finn's ghost that someone sends me some pit tickets. Quote

I was flying in with my wife and I told her prior we are getting solid seats. No ifs, ands, or buts. Especially with Alexisonfire on the bill. Seems like we lucked out at the price point. Ended up getting right behind the pit which was pretty damn small anyways. Rogers Centre I've heard is notorious for horrible, muddy sound, especially in the upper deck. We actually had some people staying in our hotel who said to us it was pretty hard to make out any of the opening acts in the 500s. They had fun at the show regardless, but said Scotiabank for the reunion tour was way better. Goes back to some of the earlier discussion -- if you can afford to do it, sometimes just makes sense to bite the bullet and cry later about price, lol. Quote

I live in the NYC area and most bands play at the many famous venues around here. But it seems like this tour is a lot smaller and mainly targeted around playing at smaller venues in smaller cities/towns. So it feels a little odd to me driving 2 hours to go see them. But I know its gonna be completely worth it. They gotta give some love to the smaller towns that usually have to drive hours to see Blink in the big cities. Quote

mahtmd Posted April 11 Posted April 11 In addition to expensive tickets, concerts also involve an overnight at a hotel and travel costs for me. So I always look at it like a vacation and spend a few extra days in the city to do something fun and different in addition to the show. No shows close enough to me for this tour, though. Quote
