With 5 and a half albums of crap, lets pull out a single decent album of Angels and Airwaves songs

I do like the line "Its something I can't get my head around"  That's a solid line if you ask me.  and the verses are fantastic.  But seriously, "I think I like today, I think its good" is so fucking awful, its cringe, and it sounds like something an 8 year old would write, but even the 8 year old would scribble it out and say they could come up with something better.  I for the life of me do not understand why Tom went with those lyrics, it sounds so unnatural and juvenile and it's just a failure of a line.

 

The lyric should have been: "I think I like today, it's something i can get my head around." or some variation of that.

 

"I think it's good" is something you'd get corrected by a teacher in the 4th grade lol. It might be charming if you're toddler or mentally handicapped.

I dunno, I'm just spitballing here, but that sounds way better to me, and I only took 10 seconds to think of an alternative there. with some time and effort, surely a much better line than what Tom chose could go there.

Those are like 3 of the best songs from the dream walker. More like take out teenagers and rituals, tunnels and kiss with a spell

I love those 3 haha. Tremors to me is a typical AVA song, I find it dull. Cannot stand the other two, really boring in my opinion.

I love all those ones lol. Paralyzed and the Wolfpack especially. I think its more so because i have an emotional connection to most of that album. Its not just the music

Overall, The Dream Walker is the best AVA album so far IMO. Closely followed by We Don't Need To Whisper. Take the "best" songs of these to albums and we have one pretty great AVA record.

 

Plus Diary. Really like the song.
