Cheerios4u98
I just don't get why people constantly expect these drastic set list changes. They didn't play the songs you want before the reunion either really, especially once untitled came out.Unrealistic expectations. Bums me out people are like that.Because Mark over-hypes the setlist before every tour.
M!ke
I wish they'd have added Mutt
Radioactive Ghent
Because Mark over-hypes the setlist before every tour. All he has said is that they are playing a little bit of everything and Travis said they were practicing 30 but couldn't play them all.If you add m+ms that set list is perfect imo
Chewy030
I would prefer them drop the untitled songs in place of older tunes but can see why they don't. Violence and Always suck balls live, at least with AVA-boy they did LOL AVA boy haha
Capsov
I agree just add M+m's, pathetic, or shut up. What makes the set list seem so stale, is the front portion of it. They really need to shake that part up.
Knapppers
They need to play emo. Fucking love that song

Radioactive Ghent
Listening to kroq tonight. WMAA came on. Everyone perks up.Definitely drop that one from the set...no.
radioactive tomdog
I wonder if they've been practicing a slightly different set list every week and if they will eventually narrow it down.
M!ke
Listening to kroq tonight. WMAA came on. Everyone perks up.Definitely drop that one from the set...no.I just don't feel the appeal of songs like that anymore, its such a tired song for me. if it were 10 years ago, I might still get excited to hear that one on the radio
Radioactive Ghent
Quintessential blink song. If you play one song to someone to let them hear blink. You play that one.
darkarrow
You've gotta think though, not everyone at that festival is there for blink. The people that aren't there for them don't give a flying fuck about deep cuts, they just wanna hear singles. Shitty, yes, but it's just the case. Not everyone has been spinning enema almost daily for the past 10-15 years.
Knapppers
I still love listening to wmaa but live its just bad. Played with a click track and in a flatter tuning then they used to and its just not the same
boxelder
>http://youtu.be/8_8dbbWsprk goddamn. that video is such a bummer. wish they sounded like this/had the energy today. mark sounds GREAT.
Knapppers
hard to believe that when they were at their greatest (some say) is when they absolutely hated each other
hammerpipe
hard to believe that when they were at their greatest (some say) is when they absolutely hated each other Crazy, isn't it? The difference is even though they weren't on the best of terms back then Tom still cared about blink. They REALLY fed off of each others hate for one another haha
Knapppers
i like he said "upcoming sets"
redhotbrianpeppers
So from the sounds of it, that setlist is from rehearsals, and isn't the final one for the show. I can hear the Matt and Mark version of Pathetic in my head, and I definitely hope they play that one. I think the main point is that they are going over 30 or so songs, and just have to see which ones work best with Matt, and go from there. I think it will be interesting to see if Mark sounds better and more energetic now, and if the tempo is faster. I think this will be the case. (Written from a Penske truck in a Walmart parking lot in Georgia, as I move from Ohio to Florida. Fuck winter. Never again.)
Radioactive Ghent
"it's always a balance of playing singles that people know and songs from the back catalog that we haven't played in a while that we like to bring out for people who don't necessarily need to hear first date for the 30th time. matt is still learning songs and there are a couple more cheshire cat songs getting added to the upcoming sets." And "also, we recorded and filmed the untitled shows, and hopefully you will be able to watch those in the future. those shows were fun." First off, I want to say.. In the past couple weeks, it's become clear that Mark is trying to save face (which is sad, as he's been drug through shit.) im sure some of you are apart of the blibk collectors group on Facebook.. Mark, previously, would rarely communicate to fans directly. Lately, he's been an active responder, which is sad. It's obvious ((to me, at least) that he's trying to keep support and keep people interested. (Which I always will be.) it's sad he has to go to such lengths because 1 asshole thinks he's better than he actually is. Lastly, I'd understand bitching about the set list if you've seen them 30x live in the last 2 yrs, but that's not the majority of the fans. Most ppl go to their shows because they know their huge singles. That's why I got into them in 2911. I heard they were coming to town.. I knew some lyrics to their big singles and knew I wanted to see them. Fuck, I didn't even know STFTK when I first saw them... But I still loved every second. I'd kill to be able to hear the same exact set list tmrw that I heard when I got into them.Did he post this in the collectors group?
