Cali has just as much cringe + you know the obvious...it's in similar vein (a summery pop/punk rock album), but not in their prime, without Tom Delonge, with Feldmann over Finn. I just can't see an argument, even if you're a major fan of Cali. Tbf I do like some aspects of blink better of older aged blink than younger too, but I still can't find a way to make the math work. Cali's lyrics are ambiguous....TOYPAJ has a song about going to prom. My list is also a reflection of what I want to listen to atm, not necessarily a "quality" ranking. Quote

Scott. Posted September 7, 2024 Posted September 7, 2024 In all seriousness how anyone has nine and Cali top is fucking beyond me. How is that possible. So you prefer blink with Skiba? This is fucking mental. 2 1 Quote

Untitled will always be the no1 blink album if anyone would ask me, but today, after 1538252826252726252725 plays, it has gotten a little overplayed for me, and I’d rather go to NINE for casual listening. I wholeheartedly love that album Quote
Drama-Free Jan Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 I've played Untitled more than any other album in the history of albums. It's a perfect album. Fuck Nevermind. 1 Quote

While, yes thats a factor in the ranking, I mostly based it off of which album I personally found either inspiring, memorable, and overall whichever one i listened to the most. No disrespect against untitled, as it is an amazing record. I love it with all my heart, especially Violence and Here's Your Letter, but It's just not my favorite record. In retrospect, I prolly shouldve ranked it higher, but it was kina hard to rank them in general. Sorry for the trouble, dude Quote
bobbo11290 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 Untitled enema neighborhoods toypaj one more time dude ranch ded ep cc california havent listened to a single thing from nine besides the 3-4 times I first tried pre pandemic, and I’m sure that’s for a reason. Even mark fuckin hates the album. And I WANTED to like it, bc at the time a Tom reunion seemed dead in the water, so if blink was intent on keeping the brand alive, hope for the best, but my god I was not prepared for that level of worst. 1 Quote
bobbo11290 Posted November 8, 2024 Posted November 8, 2024 And even though ded wasn’t their worst (unfortunately), I’ll never understand the hype for it around these parts. All I heard was a step down from neighborhoods, and even at the time, a good 2 yrs before Tom left again mind you, it sounded to me like a band falling apart. Like Tom and mark were in a creative tug of war instead of complimenting each other, and even though they actually worked on it in unison, it sounded even less cohesive and even more disjointed than neighborhoods.
