saw them in boston the other night. show was great, they were hilarious. but i am really not convinced he's actually playing. sometimes he'd hand his guitar to his tech while the chords are still ringing out lol. anyone else notice this?

what's known is that they play songs to a click track live( per travis confirmation)

they also have alot of pre recorded glossy stuff like piano part(like in i miss you)

but i couldnt hear strait up pre-recorded guitar parts when i peaked at their recent live perfo

I don’t know why you guys think this is some big secret they’re trying to mask.  They’re doing a world tour, so they have pre recorded, backing tracks to amplify the sound, fill up all layers in the songs, because that’s what most people want to see. The 1% of edgelords they don’t care about impressing much right now sorry. 
It’s like having a fourth member of the band up there, backing tracks. Keyword, backing.  Think Pat smear.  Backing.
