Blink-182 pisses me off now.

Their shows are commercial

their TOURS are commercial

their shows are fucking way too expensive......

They taylored neighorhoods commercially as it is no questions asked a technical step down from untitled

they do the bare minimum expecting and getting the most cash/fame out of the situation

they treat fans like they're doing everyone a privelage by existing

Their answers to questions regarding the important things are short and vague, or come off scripted/rehearsed

Yeah I liked Neighborhoods a lot, I like that blink style more but still...  this album took longer than untitled (Which took way too fucking long) and doesn't sound like they tried as much as they did previously. And Tom jokes about literally going up to mark and saying "What if we actually really really tried.. the record would sound so good." That's hilarious, Tom.

I seriously feel like I could easily argue against this band so well to a blink fan when I still am. But... If asked if I liked blink-182 today I'd  say "I loved them growing up." Their earlier shit is still to this day some of my favorite music on earth. But as people now, i feel like they're spitting in the face of me and every fan out there. "Let's treat them like they're retarded and make money."

Tom=Money

Mark=Fame

Travis=Boredom

pretty much. there's no reason as to why their shows cost nearly $100 when they aren't providing anything new to the performance itself. i like neighborhoods too but we all know that they didn't put effort into it at all. even the inside artwork of the album is total shit and looks like recycled greatest hits  art.

they could be doing everything so much better

I think people look way too far into things. I'm definitely guilty of it sometimes too.

I loved blink then and I love blink now. The way they are doing things now is far more organic and less commercial than it was when they were huge.

and their shows are cheap as shit. can't beat 30-40 dollar pit tickets. if people are paying more nearly 100 bucks for seats then that is probably the venue ripping you off, not blink. I've seen them three times in the last two years and never spent more than 40.

i think you are the only one on here who can say this. $40 in detroit or chicago will get you the fucking lawn or a parking spot

which means that it is the venue overcharging. at the venues around here, pits tickets are cheaper than seats for most shows.

Not sure if serious.  So renting out a house together and recording an album is less organic than recording songs via correspondence, often leaving certain band members entirely absent from their recording?  Ghent, sometimes you say the stupidest shit.

Both times I've seen them play, pit tickets were $90 without tax.  And my venue didn't even come close to selling out (they even did a Groupon for like 60% off seated tickets).

Everyone claiming tickets are 100 are either buying them the day before the concert up close or are full of shit . I got tickets pretty close at the Hollywood Bowl for 60 dollars 2 weeks before the show. I could of gotten them for around 45-50 or so a month earlier. HOLLYWOOD BOWL , probably a top 3 even stop on the tour when it comes to tickets selling out. Whoever is claiming 100 is buying seats front row. Nobody should spend over 65 for general seats in the middle area.

Both times I saw them over the last couple years I bought my tickets during the pre-sale (when you have the code to enter), probably within 30 seconds of them going on sale, and they were $90 without tax each time.  So no, we're not full of shit, I guess the prices just differ depending on the region.

I'm not really going to defend them because your probably right on most of those things but I'm just glad their still making music.  I believe a lot of peoples frustration lately is the lack of album promotion and Tom doing AVA right after the Blink album was released.  I dunno though.  Stuff like that doesn't bother me much.

The way I see it, they know they have made it and have lost that drive they used to have in their prime.  So it is kind of unfair to expect the same band you loved 10 years ago.  But I still think their making better music than most of the bands in their genre, so I'll still support them.

personally i dont get so "involved" anymore. i just enjoy the music. i dont freak out waiting for new singles and tours like i used to.

thats how i am. i never did really get aggravated with that kind of stuff but.. i just sit back and listen to the music. quite frankly, some people on here seem to be more involved with members of this band than they probably are with their best friend.

I still get mad thinking about how they talked about naming the tour One way ticket to boneville and decided the better name would be

"AT&T presents...." Lol.

You're mad because the company sponsoring their tour wanted their name somewhere? lol.

I agree with all the points made - completely. They're not the same band anymore, however, if they're not going to lose sleep over it neither should you. People need to chill out, enjoy the music, and not worry so much about the details

I think it depends if your in an arena or not. Hollywood bowl is not an arena.  Im in Vancouver and floor tickets cost me 90$ I think, thats for an arena, Rogers(a canadian cellphone company) Arena ironically seeing as its an AT&T sponsored tour

would you like to see my receipt? i bought my tickets the very second they were released. and yeah, i am buying front row because blink plays massive venues where the only spot to have a good time is in fact up front.

Yeah, I am. What kind of tour is named completely after the sponsor. I can understand the ____ tour sponsored by AT&T but come on.
