Ghent and Jar Jar created this little blink safespace bubble where they ignored what was blatantly obvious and just constantly reassure each other that everything was good and the band is in great shape despite knowing deep down that things were going to shit.

What's very sad is I now think they have been doing it for so long that they actually believe all the stuff they are saying is true and don't even have to pretend anymore.

Seems like you can catch it as well as Watcher on the Wall and Ghent's brother fall into the same category, I'd actually say it's bordering on becoming a cult now.

A cult of mental health and normalcy...wanna join?!

You were ranting about how Tom's lyrics are about rape literally within the past several days

Yes, I have been purposely mocking the behavior of the blink haters in this thread over the last few days. It's exhausting

haha that doesn't seem like good practices of mental health and normalcy

I think there's a bit of a misunderstanding regarding the people who aren't happy with current blink but are okay with current AVA -

Angels and Airwaves is not blink-182. It's a side project of Toms and has been since it's inception, therefore it has never been held to the same standard. I like Kiss and Tell because it's a pretty alright song, but if it's what a functioning competent blink-182 put out with Tom and Mark? I'd be less than enthused. Neighborhoods was a sub par blink album, but if AVA had released Ghosts On The Dancefloor or Snake Charmer then they would have been pretty damn good AVA songs.

The point is blink has a legacy of fantastic albums and great songs, they've built up this reputation and back catalog of awesome - and now they do not deliver.

Meanwhile, Tom chases aliens and occasionally shits out music and this time around it sounds pretty okay.

The current blink stuff receives so much scorn not just because it isn't good (and it really isn't good, by any stretch of the imagination) but because it's fucking horrifically bad compared to what blink has released in the past.

Kiss and Tell compared to literally any other AVA song? it does pretty well.

See? it's all perspective kids!

I just can't believe Tom is so into rape culture these days. A music video AND an entire song based on it. Very creepy.

Could be why Jen left him.

Honestly man your "sarcastic" constant trolling contributes more to the site's bullshit than anyone else's at this point. I know it's just a schtick to make fun of your perception of other posters being too negative, but at this point almost every single post you're either pretending to hate everything Tom does and call him rapey and blindly bash anything he does or says, or pretending to blindly love everything Blink/Feldy does and say it's the greatest thing you've ever heard and everyone else is full of shit. How do you never realize that the thing you claim to be so annoyed by is literally ALL YOU DO lately?

Oh don't be so butthurt, your tombot is showing. Funny how people can dish this garbage for years but can't take it for a week.

that's the best part about all of this.  I genuinely loved California, and was shocked other blink "fans" reacted so negatively to my posts and to the band at the time, so yeah it pissed me off and created a troll.

The KANSAS KREW and allies have been taking abuse for fucking years now, and the second you reverse it into a completely over-the-top troll they crumble and start to whine about toxicity.

fucking hilarious.

Wonder how many bottles of pain pills Tom is packing for this tour...He will be back to waving his arms like he's flying on stage (mid-yodel) in no time

Definitely not from it's inception.  Tom started the band out with the belief that it'd be bigger than blink, if you don't recognize that, then you're not well versed in the history of the band.  At this point the band definitely is a side project, but that was not what Tom originally intended for the band, but it never really took off in such a way for him, much like many of his other endeavors of the time like modlife.

I like it, Tombotism aside, it simple, focused just on the music and members more.

The Kansas crew blinkbots are off the rails. The real reason is because Tom is actually doing better than Blink at this point. Kansas Krew deep down knows this so meltdown incoming
