boxelder Posted June 17 Posted June 17 let’s make a new thread! this thursday the boys embark on the one more time tour, which is slated to have new visuals and production, as well as the first time they’re using a 360 stage. it’s mainly slated for B markets and festivals but given how well the world tour did last year and a brief look at seating maps on ticketmaster, it looks like this will be another very successful run for the band. whats cool is that this tour is slated to be different setlist wise than the last which was obviously more of a greatest hits outing. we already received some of that feel with the latin america shows where they played deep cuts like turpentine and wendy clear. but what will they play on this one? i’m betting you can expect more of the new album (bad news ?) and i really wouldn’t mind swapping out the staples of last year like aliens exist/violence with songs like GATC or stockholm. we know they’ll be playing carousel again potentially based on instagram clips. so what do we think? who’s all going? i’m excited about this run. i’ll be going to the Greenville SC show. 3 1 Quote
Paparazzi Magnet Posted June 17 Posted June 17 Pretty excited about it. Especially since they’ll have to take measures to ensure it doesn’t feel like a repeat of what they did last year. The 360 stage sounds sick. Quote
MCDC Posted June 17 Posted June 17 I’m locked in to the August show. Hopefully they get back to their punk rock roots and ditch the backing tracks! 2 Quote
Rhino7170 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I'll be at the Orlando show in a few days! I'm hoping for some deep cuts for sure, something outside the usual set list we have seen in Europe, etc. I'm really hoping Carousel is on the list for that show. Quote
Ghent Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I will be at the KC show, pit ticket. Looking forward to it! 2 Quote
allsystemsgo Posted June 18 Posted June 18 If the added Wasting Time (with full distortion) then I'd be a happy camper. Some DR deep cuts would be nice too. Enthused would be sweet. 1 Quote
Elite Takes - this is jan Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Would be sick if they added an A-tier Chesire song into the mix. 2 Quote
boxelder Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 songs i'd love to hear them rotate in and out (realistic list): josie, GATC, mutt unrealistic wish list: everytime i look for you, obvious, after midnight, wishing well, not now, stockholm plz retire: UAN, dumpweed (for the time being), violence 1 Quote
Ghent Posted June 18 Posted June 18 Pretty insane they never try Every Time I Look For You. It's aged out as one of their most iconic non-single songs for me and others I know. 4 Quote

Spotify, I imagine, is just a reflection of a more modern time period of listening. The classics and singles from awhile back are at a disadvantage. But seeing deeper cuts listed towards the top is notable from it. 3 Quote
dave900 Posted June 18 Posted June 18 I’ll be at the Philly show , I missed out on last years tour due to its price and not being that close to Philly. Looking forward to seeing what the new set list is , I hope to hear Mutt ! Quote
thongrider Posted June 19 Posted June 19 It'd be cool if they played all the hits (atst feeling this etc), but also some deepcuts for the fans(Dumpweed, Violence, Reckless Abandon) and some new ones like EDGING. 1 1 1 Quote

Dang, can they hire you? Violence is also one of my favorite songs, so it’d be super sick if they played a long intro for it. For 1,000 shows in a row. Quote
Knapppers Posted June 19 Posted June 19 I'm seeing them at an amphitheatre so not sure how they're supposed to have a 360 stage? Seeing them at the Gorge and it'll be my first time there. Pretty pumped to see a show there finally. Quote
twentytwenty Posted June 19 Posted June 19 360 stages are so lame to me. Why would I want to pay my hard-earned money for potentially seeing their backs?! I was not in love with the stage they had this past Europe tour either, just use a normal stage and do your show without the pretentiousness. 1 Quote
