Someone in Mark’s discord said they said the deluxe comes out on the 19th before playing Can’t Go Back. I just assumed that was going to be the announcement date, maybe they misheard and he meant the song? But that would be great, can anyone who was there confirm?

There was a sign that said stay tuned for August 19th.

The uncertainty at this point is just whether we get a single song on the 19th with deluxe announcement for release later in the month (really worst case it’s a 10 day gap) or if they’re shadow dropping it on the 19th. I’d be curious to hear exactly what mark said introing can’t go back last night.

if they’re just casually playing the entire deluxe every night this week I wouldn’t be surprised if the whole thing comes out next monday

It's dumb, but they are just keeping with the times.  I'm sure Tom was confused as fuck but then they showed "here's the revenue trajectory if we do a double album".

I'd probably do the same ngl.  They definitely could do an EP or a next album, they can really do anything they want ball is in their court.  We just know they can't leave money on the table.

Im pretty sure it's to boost the figures in regards to popularity. like different 'variations' of one record all counts towards that one records numbers overall. A lot of artists do it and I personally think it's horseshit but there we are.
