They're having a little too much fun in the studio though. Like, this is why they need a more 'unfun' producer, like a Jerry Finn. They lack discipline because everyone eats everything up. I'm not a Rick Rubin stan but I think that is a genius move for them. They went from producing on their own last album (which was chill, but sloppy). After hiring a pop pop-punk producer in Feldmann (it showed, and sucked), and Chainsmoker esque Songwriting teams thing. And now back to the Chainsmoker esque Songwriting teams thing but + Tom this time. Glory days are over. Still down to take the stick out and have some decent fun though. But I'm not gonna stan for this lazy uninspired shit. It's just decent.

I think they do, they just want to make this a lifestyle thing. Tour, sell big, make decent/good songs, make a fortune. I love the positivity they have right now, but man do I crave an authentic Tom/Mark/Blink cut. Damn I sound like Diddy right now.
mahtmd
None of the clips wow me but I’ve only listened to each once. I don’t want to overplay them. But I’m definitely more hyped now! I am surprised Can’t Go Back isn’t teased here. But I guess we’ve already heard a version of it.
Frank Woods
Not gonna hear them, as I did with the singles before the release of OMT. But I still listened to Can't Go Back, and don't know if the Untitled vibe of the song fits well with the OMT era: what if it has been written for the next record?
Chewy030
I still think releasing it as a deluxe is silly, just give us a 5 song EP and call it a day. No reason to release a year old album again at this point.

They're not bad but not great either. How I thought the original OMT album was gonna sound like.

Monkey Chips
I'm really excited for the full songs to come out (and the other songs that weren't teased) in the deluxe version later this month. As I learned with the Dance With Me snippet in the Blink Stalls, I can't actually judge how the songs will be, but I do want to point out some thoughts I had while listening to these snippets (and I'm actually gonna go back over and replay them as I write my thoughts out. 1) No Fun - Cool song, honestly sounds like a song that could have been on Tom's Lifeform's album, but also it has that classic blink-182 flair with the instrumentals of the bass and guitar (after Tom's vocal intro (for this clip at least I assume it's an intro)) Like I said, both the vocal intro and the vocal bit after the classic blink-182 instrumental breakdown give me some AvA Lifetime vibes. 2) All In My head - Pretty cool song, sounds like a fun pop punk tune... Not sure what to make of it though (at least until we get the full version) 3) Everyone Everywhere - Yeah this is a mix of BCR and AvA (Again Lifeforms AvA) which is really cool. I can't tell if that is Tom singing with a deeper voice like he did in "Losing My Mind"/the bridge for "More Than You Know" or Mark singing or even a combination of them both with a synth doing a neat effect. 4) Take Me In - Wow, Tom's part feels like it could be a Bowling For Soup song (and I mean that in a complimentary way because I was a BFS fan) Mark's part... I hate to say it kind of sounds like it might have outside songwriters influence. Other than that I'll have to wait for the full version of the song to fully judge. We're all Blink connoisseurs here, that melody came from somewhere else for sure. It might as well be AI-created for modern pop streaming playlists.

fran.182
Sounds like they are back to the factory line, rushed, throwback approach with lyrics homaging themselves. Not my thing. "Take Me In" does sound promising, different enough and I think "Can't Go Back" is a strong one, but even the latter showcases some of my issues. From the live version, it's like they cut it too short. Sometimes I feel blink is relying on a restrained style as an excuse to get to the end fast. Laziness. Let the songs breathe and build up more with richer intro/outros, textures...

Yeah that was my impression too, unfortunately... "fuck me and fuck you too" "whatever happened to the sense of 90s when punk was independent, and then it wasn't, when everyone became a part of that scene" "change the ending scene, watch some porn and sing(?)" I dunno, I'll give it all a fair shot when it comes out but this all seems pretty uninspired lyrically and sounds pretty ghost-written musically at first listen. I loved One More Time sooo much, but this sounds like it will be quite a step down, back to the 2016-2020 vibe but with Tom this time.
Frank Woods
Many bands which needed to find their chemistry again released throwback albums after getting back together. I think that having strenghter their relationship blink will try a more experimental way, maybe with a "true" producer (don't know if Rick Rubin could be the right one, since blink use to write and record at the same time while he prefers to enter in studio with the completed songs).
