2point5 Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 This one is slowly becoming my favourite of the new bunch. That first verse transition from Mark vocals to Tom vocals is gold. 3 Quote
Russel Coight Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 This is the song that’s in my head every morning. Quote
Elisa Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 When Mark comes in with the higher pitch vocal WE FELL in love so well is so blink 2 Quote

It was always fun to dive deep into each song and hear different perspectives. I kind of miss those detailed breakdowns, it made listening to albums more engaging 1 Quote
JarJarBlinks Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 I'm sick of Tom ripping himself off with melodies he's already used. 1 1 Quote

I totally get why they don't want to mess around with morning zoo radio shows and spending entire days in a hotel room with journalists answering the same shit over and over, but I love hearing actual insights into their music and process. 1 Quote
Locean Breeze - Jan Posted September 18, 2024 Author Posted September 18, 2024 Just making a pit stop in this excellent, excellent thread idea. The very end, it sounds like the best I've ever heard Mark, legit, but can't 100% tell if it's him either in the background (right at about 3:20). Kudos the the Narc man Travis for pulling together an actual successful Feeling This 2.0 ending. It's been attempted a few times since Cali and that is the best I've heard use of that overlapping harmonies exit (ironically Everyone Everywhere would probably be the second best). Where's my lossless audio bros to help isolate this track? 1 Quote

Whether he’s talking about Mark or Tom…I’d reckon at least 69 times 2 Quote
