It’s funny to me that so many people were fooled. None of these answers sound like anything Mark would say at all. This Sasha guy seems like an Oliver level of pathological liar starving for attention

At this point, guys and gals, don't believe any rumours. Only offician statements with concrete dates or just surprise releases.

The rumour is, even, Tom telling that the album being delayed was due to the vinyl pressing thing, and now it turned out that the album is just not finished yet.

yeah sucks there's no new song. honestly pretty shocked they're not done with it yet, but according to travis's recent tweets they seem to be at the end of the process maybe?

as long as the record is great i really really don't care about the delay. the no-press thing is a bummer too, and i'm sure it'll come, but everyone here is right. unusual strategy with this release. i think they thought they were farther along when they were maybe last year and people around them maybe pushed to announce the reunion to drum up the tour dates, which had to be booked far in advance. like i said not a big deal if the album is good, but i'm ready for some new music! edging just doesn't and has never really cut it for me.

I'm glad I didn't pay the $1000 to see them on this tour. The two Cali songs would have been cool to hear with Tom, but besides that it's pretty much the same ole stuff (with more effort!).

The tour supporting the new album will be the one for me

What if there isn’t one?
I get a final vibe with this tour, being world wide and all.

no i don't get that vibe either. it definitely feels like a victory lap, the same way '09 did but with far better playing and vibes. i think realistically they'll play these shows, finish up with south america next year, and play some more album-supporting shows next fall in big cities in the US and UK, and then take a big break they'll deserve. whether or not we get another album after that is up to how this one goes, but i wouldn't count it out.

I think them not having kids in the house anymore will lead to a good decade of activity. If Tom can just stay away from the fake alien stuff and not start any more dumb projects. Big if but I have hope

What is everyone just supposed to hole up and watch Fox News from the recliner until they die once they hit 50? lol

My dad just went to see Beautiful South and he’s in his 60s. I plan on still seeing blink at that age.

If there’s money on the table and they’re getting along then they’ll keep playing.

i don't think they have to fully retire if they don't want to. as long as travis can keep playing the way he does (or alter it somewhat over time with age), and the members stay healthy why shouldn't they? descendents still playing. big rock stars in their 70s and 80s still going out. even those who retire do one-off shows or small weekend runs. as long as things stay right i think we'll see plenty of the band for the rest of our lives.

My grandpa is 86 and half deaf but still listens to music all the time and has been to a couple shows in his 80s
