Scott. Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Not a huge fan of the song but Here’s Your Letter has a sensational bridge. 1 Quote
fran.182 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Not sure if I can pick one... Either "Adam's Song" or "Feeling This", probably. "Here's Your Letter", "Natives", "Violence" and "No Heart To Speak Of" are some of my other favorites... Quote
blinkAVARacer Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Asthenia was the first to come to mind, love that bridge 1 Quote
Champ182 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Not sure about all time, but Anthem Pt. 3 and Turpentine have incredible bridges on the new album 3 Quote
just_bringing_good_chats Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 ashtenia, adam's own song, stay tagether foo them kizz, whats my asian friend, all stunning bridges/breakdown these days with their fake live performance they do play the piano part of adam song in the bridge as a pre recorded piano part, but i always enjoyed the spookyness of how on the mark tom and travis show, theres no pre recorded piano part played it made that part so deep, that one of the key element wasn't gonna b there, and theyd have to just take that part "home" just for that part and it did work! despite the important part missing, u hear that desperation, retrospect, and depth trough them just playing their guitar parts u can hear that part at time i linked in that video Quote
just_bringing_good_chats Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 i know that that mark tom and travis album is a bit of a weird fake live thing but, to me, thats the best live blink, honnest, youthfull, in the spirit of the moment, no too much thinking, just "go for it" and at the time, either bootlegs sounded realy bad and or were difficult for the averge person to get so for alot of ppl including me at the time, this was almost my only exposure to blink live i could get making that album extremly special at the time Quote
boxelder Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 i like the original anthem bridge. on TOYPAJ, the online songs na-na-na singalong is catchy as all hell, and i think first date's bridge is blink is microcosm -- algebraic drums, simple riff, playful bass, tasteful accessories (tambourine). untitled by far has the best vocal bridges, including feeling this, mark's "cripped from exhaustion" bridge on stockholm, the "holly let me out" on easy target that creatively devolves into a watery guitar line. and here's your letter is great. i've always had a soft spot for the theatrics of GOTDF but it's the only bridge on neighborhoods that i feel's worth a shit. in the skiba era, the return of vocal bridges was an obviously highlight. i think it's hard to beat misery or BTD. i love the "wake me when this war is over" segment in los angeles. the "with you with you again" couplet in rabbit hole is nice. on the new record, i think blink wave and turpentine really deliver interesting and creative bridges. 2 Quote

Ghost Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 Tons, the ones you all have said. More recently, Turpentine bridge is so good. It took me so by surprise the first time I heard it. Amazing lyrics. Also, Bored To Death bridge. I think is peak prime bridging Hoppus. 1 Quote
