I'm sick of the "pretty standard" thing. A year ago, none of us was dreaming about blink having a record coming out in july, with a massive tour and all the promo they are doing.
Yeah, pretty standard stuff for a band which has been zombified for the last... 10 years?
No offense.
I think he said he liked it for what it was but as a musical expert genius all time great blink fan he just couldn't get over the simplistic chorus blah blah repetitive blah blah
Some fans aren't. It's got a peppier and more catchy vibe than a lot of their stuff, but the lyrics are still on point and his voice is always wonderful. I love the whole of it but some people don't dig.
rather random, but I just had a good chuckle to myself remembering Tom referring to the 5 star reviews for that last AVA album being in any way real or led to some of the conflicts within the group.
Blink never promoted it, only KROQ. It was intended for the local audience only as they were promoting tour dates in that area. Quit your sorry bitching.
I don't think anyone is looking a gift horse in the mouth or are disappointed by anything, we're just greedy because we've had a taste of new blink so we're all desperate for new stuff, I doubt anyones going to be annoyed that all it was was to promote their new giant tour to support their new giant album. we're all technically on cloud 9 right now.
NickNem92 is nothing more than a troll.
I'm surprised no one else went ape shit @ Mark doing Kanye during the Dammit "INSERT RANDOM SONG HERE" part like old times.
It was my site for years, had all Toms equipment lists. It was at the top of Google. I stupidly let it disappear but wondering if any of you guys remember it?
Tom said if there is enough interest he might go further back into AVA's discog and release even earlier demos. Say what you will about Tom selling demos, but I'd love to hear some from the WDNTW and I-Empire eras.
I always really liked this podcast of clips of I-Empire demos that Tom released on Modlife years ago:
