_Kyle_ Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 I remember liking it a whole lot when it came out, and it was a hot song for internet rumors about Scott that made it even more interesting and built this allure to it (drama!), but it kind of bums me out that it was just so obviously about him. How they get around talking about it is kind of interesting to me considering. Once it was a single, the band was already writing the new record and it kind of missed a lot of press opportunity to be scrutinized. Quote

I do specifically Remember in MTV’s Making the Video they did say it’s about losing a friend to drugs and alcohol, and I think that’s the most they ever did to talk about it Quote
M!ke Posted April 6, 2020 Posted April 6, 2020 This must have been posted back in the day, but this is the first I'm seeing of it, from a show in 2016, where they all switch instruments. I love it. Something about seeing Travis playing bass is really satisfying: 1 Quote

It does kind of bother me looking back they never, ever, talk about Scott when they still were mildly successful without Travis. Quote

zzzz Posted April 11, 2020 Posted April 11, 2020 FYI “LA Originals” Netflix special has tons of Trav/Mark and some blink footage in it. So dope. 1 Quote

Resident Zoomer Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 Based off the short preview we have of Miley’s delivery on the song, I’m definitely intrigued. I still like the song with blink on vocals, but with Miley, it sounds way more appropriate just being a full on pop song than being disguised as this weird pop/rock hybrid it’s obviously not. Quote
Nosferatu Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 I'd love to hear this version. Not a fan of Miley but I'd much prefer pop stars in blink songs over rappers, unless it's Kanye West. 1 Quote

zzzz Posted April 12, 2020 Posted April 12, 2020 He just said she sang on a version of it and he didn’t know it leaked lol. That would’ve been huge for that song. Quote
