Kay 11679
I made it through like 4 tracks, kiss kiss is basically identical to bloody valentine, and it's very cheesy corny paint by numbers pop punk sound, but it's fucking better than modern blink. Still not my thing but I find it hysterical how much riffier this is considering it's basically pop music.

ManchesterAdam 412
Was really looking forward to the MGK album but was pretty disappointed to be honest. Wasn’t bad but just found it boring except for Bloody Valentine. Going to give it another listen and hope there’s a few growers on there.
NotNow 2772
Albums decent but honestly the choruses mostly fall flat which is disappointing because the foundation is there for awesome songs. Some really good ones though.
Dylan_ 2283
Decent album but a lot of the songs sound very same-same.
Scott. 9914
wow Halsey sounds great. Between the both of them they could bring a huge new following to the genre and blink. Both are huge Blink fans and you can hear blinks influence All over this album. Let’s hope between MGK, Halsey and yungblud pop punk gains a new following. I love hip hop but I’m fucking sick of hearing it everywhere

Nosferatu 1860
I listened to the album and it's not my thing at all. I like one track but if this album can help gain pop punk music or alt rock music a bigger following, then I'm all for it. Like Scott I'm sick of the same old tired music that's been dominating the charts for the past decade and a half. It's about time chart music became more diverse like it used to be.

Scott. 9914
Halsey sounds fucking amazing. She‘s come a long way from busking blink songs. That bridge is great too

ManchesterAdam 412
I just feel like he set the bar too high with I Think I’m Okay last year and then songs like Hollywood Whore on his last album were a good mix of rap and rock. Where this album just feels like he was trying too hard to create a generic pop-punk album. Still a good album and going to keep listening to it but just think it could have been better. Reminds me more of the pop punk bands from anytime after 2005 than it does of the bands before that year.

Right? That kind of makes me see it in a different light, because I think he nailed that. I hear almost all those bands in here throughout. I think the classic pop punk genre is simply just dead. I also like the little hip hop spin he put on it to stick to his roots.
Ghent 18578
Listened to this like 4 times in a row yesterday. Just really well done all around. Honest, endearing, fun, funny, aggressive, catchy. This is so much better than any pop punk I've heard in years and years. And I can't believe there is an Operation Ivy tribute. I was so pumped when I noticed that, I listened to that album so much in high school.
