The 4 of us stay in a house and record a new album again?" My interpretation of that part was that it was a rhetorical question, showing that it would NOT work. Like "come on folks, a 4 piece? How would that even work? It wouldn't." 1
Champ182 Posted October 12, 2022 Author Posted October 12, 2022 The fact that he wasn't a part of the Quarantine song 2.5 years ago in any way, he wasn't a part of that one-off Halloween performance last year, and he wasn't a part of some random song last year that was "featuring Blink 182" either makes me think they parted ways a long time ago. There's zero chance Skiba was surprised by any of this, in my opinion. I'm sure it wasn't a warm tearful goodbye, it's not like they ever seemed to have a close relationship with Skiba, but I'm sure they at least told him their plans and gave him a parting gift or something: 2
Ghent Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 If their relationship is still ok, I wouldn't be surprised at all if we get at least some experimental shows with him on the stage with Tom. Tom has trouble carrying the guitar load anyway, it makes sense
thongrider Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Blink, alk 3, +44, Ava show 2024 would be classic.

But yeah you're kinda right, recently Tom seemed like he forgot how how to strum chords, and Skiba never really knew how to play lead parts, they could complement each other really well haha.
Chewy030 Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Vinyl pre-orders are up on blinks site. No title though yet. Also says Spring Summer 2023 release. 1

boxelder Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 might wait to see what other variants pop up 1
NotNow Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Vinyl printing is in a fucked state with extremely long wait times. If they want this ready in the spring, they need to place an order now. So kind of makes sense both the album is essentially done and they’re getting order numbers so they can actually get the vinyl done. Notice there’s no other preorder packages available, just the vinyl. I wouldn’t be surprised if they print them before even having artwork or the art for the centerpiece of the vinyl and then figure that out later putting everything together. 2
scoobs Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Pretty sure the album title will be ‘Hard At Work’. All signs point to this being the case 1 1
Scott. Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Anyone else think ‘edging’ is just something they maybe worked on in the past and have finished it and it’s just something to keep us happy for now? With the album out spring/summer maybe edging has nothing to do with the album? Just seems too early to start releasing singles?
radioactive tomdog Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 went ahead and grabbed one anyway. just as overpriced as the tickets but maybe i'll get an early download code for the singles as they get released 2

radioactive tomdog Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 that's just the ETA for the vinyl, which tends to be 2-3 months after the actual digital release these days due to pressing plant backup. 1
