nice guy for sure, full of insight and opinions. sometimes i felt like his relationship to mark verged on parasocial, with his mementos and stories. it's why it makes sense he's the king of the discord now, constantly holding court and responding to each and everything mark says. it's cool, i read it sometimes because it's fun, but it really does feel like a bunch of people waiting with bated breath for mark to show up to give them something to get excited about. real hero worship-y. count me out

it's why i value this forum so much. not as casual as the reddit ("does anyone, uh, know the CD tray says viking wizard eyes??"), not as absent of critical thinking as the discord. i do miss davey though! he was fun to have around, and was very nice.

I'm in Mark's discord as well, don't get me wrong it's cool to see updates and whatever Mark has to say

but I'd rather talk about blink on here. People on here are more open minded and have more contrasting views, so it's more interesting.

The discord chat just feels more like a fanboy/fangirl club or whatever. I've always found it weird getting hyped up by celebrities and stuff too. Like I just never have felt starstruck or anything

normaly i would just thumb up but i gotta take the time to say "excellent post" cause this is right on

its what i sensed from early on and the fact that mark became this big "star" just added to his infatuation with mark

theres prob a reason why mark hadn't talk 2 him in 15 years plus or something and why they are not regularly talking still today

im gonna be honest I don’t think admins should accept those requests, ever. It fucks up old threads. If a member wants their stuff removed they should have to delete each of their own individual posts.

I’m pretty sure that is what happened. They just deleted their own posts. Unfortunately when they are thread creators it gets rid of the thread too.
