I still remember when modlife was supposed to deliver pro shot concerts. Man

Patreon basically became what Midlife tried to be, to a certain extent, didn't it?

Basically anything with memberships does this as well (like I use a Ko-Fi instead of patreon when I streamed) there's also the option (which I would NOT used) on Twitch where you could make a subscribers only stream and lock vods behind paywall (which I also don't recommend doing) a lot of places now can do what Tom was pushing with ModLife.

Also YouTube channel memberships do that as well with exclusive videos and whatnot.

Did they never do them? I have a memory of watching them live on stream but I don't know if it was a full concert or just a song or two, and I also don't remember if it was pro-shot or just some low-quality thing.

Not that I can recall. I was super into collecting pro-shot videos and soundboard audio for awhile, and I never stumbled upon anything that was released on modlife originally

hmm, might have just been a shitty webcam livestream then. I don't remember if what I saw was an entire concert or just a few songs they decided to broadcast, but I have a vivid memory of watching AVA play The War live on Modlife from some concert they were playing that night.

Especially as cell phone recordings have proliferated, why not sell pro shots to have the best quality out there.

They still livestream or at least pro-record this right?

If so we might be store for more good quality live performance videos (last time being Coachella).

hell yeah,  Lolapalooza Brazil streams as well, so we should be getting those in a few months.

99% possibility that I'm going to get tickets to see them at Reading in the next couple of days. It's happening.

Still holding out for a Brixton show or equivalent. Really don’t want to go to Leeds fest lol and Glasgow etc isn’t ideal either.

I’m not allowed to drink and do drugs with teenagers on a field anymore. Not after last time.

I haven't bought a ticket yet but I just saw that under 12's get in free with a paying adult. Would it be foolish of me to take my blink loving 8 year old daughter or would it make me the the worlds greatest father? I'm leaning towards the latter because I have previous for making awesome decisions on a whim.

People bring babies to festivals so 8 should be fine with some ear defenders. Do it!

I still can't believe it's been 10 years since they last played at this festival.

I was there!

Decided I'm not gonna go with my daughter. It'll just be too long for her to stay interested throughout the day and then getting home will be a nightmare without having to skip the last 20 mins of the set.
