Well I didn't want to mention this, but since you raised this point I'll say the thought I've been holding on to.

The cynical asshole in me is also thinking there's a possibility that Travis went out of his way to lie about a BCR song being on this album to drum up even more hype and this song has a similar name to the BCR song that's popular so people would be already be hyped for it.

That being said, that's just me being cynical and hopefully they tell us what the actual BCR song was in a future interview.

They never actually said which song was the BCR song... Just Travis saying they made a BCR song into a blink one and because Dance With Me happens to share a similar name to a BCR song we all assumed (until parts of the song and lyrics leak) that it was gonna be the same song.

Great question haha. For all anyone knows it might have just been what some rando titled the file when they originally uploaded it to Limewire or Kazaa 20 years ago.

I mean the lyrics have nothing to do with dancing with anybody so it's fairly likely ?

Perhaps what happened is Dance With Me (BCR) is indeed the unreleased song on this album, but they changed the name to something else on the album as they felt the title Dance With Me fit better for a different (this) song on the album.

Yes I know that. But we've since heard that whatever song it is, it will be appearing on this album.  And BCR played an unreleased song back in the day at their concerts that was called Dance With Me. You can hear from the bootlegs that that song sounds very different from this Dance With Me.  So the question is, is it a completely different unreleased BCR song from their Dance With Me? Or is it still the BCR Dance With Me but they renamed it to something else on the album?

Some random Ole's in the song are one of the weirdest things to complain about. We have no idea what it's gonna sound like, we really don't even know if it's true tbh
