How fucking awesome does a combination of +44 and Alkaline Trio sound now? I want that so much. I was really looking forward to Alk 44 tbh, everyone was concerned and I was just like "here's hopin'!" 2 Quote

It should have been Justin Pierre - he would actually be able to sing Tom's vocals live and he has worked with Mark before. It's a shame because his new album was a whole lot of forgettable and MCS is kaputt. Wasted potential! 2 1 1 Quote
vic vinegar Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 I actually don't hate this song. I guess blink is 2/5 with the new songs for me. There's now legitimate hope they can improve this album as 2/5 is better than Cali where they went 3/15 or something. Guess demoting Feldy and writing with 150 people is working in their favor, they went from a dreadful 20% Vic Approval Rating to nearing 40%. Quote
Russel Coight Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 Even Feldman is sharing this song on insta. He hasn’t shared anything about non-feldy songs this album cycle. Quote

Still haven't seen difinitive proof other than hearsay Go on spotify, play a new blink song. Hit "..." next to the play count/popularity rating. Hit "show credits". Written by means cowriters, produced means produced. When you see the producer in both the writers credits and the production credits. That means he wrote during the session, and also worked/developed/finalized the production. So you'll see this single has 4 outside writers,+ the three band members, two of the writers worked on the production. 7 people on the writing, two people ontop of the band brought the track to how you hear it now. 1 Quote

Lindemulder Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Uncertainty/guessing could be sidelined with experimenting that they said this album is about though. Experimenting is exactly about not knowing how things will turn out - so I dont blame them for trying. (I havent heard the new song though because I'd rather wait for the album and have one more song I dont know) I reject to judge the band until the album actually arrives. Just ike Cali there must be some songs that are absolutely wonderful. Why would they chase fame on the radio now? It has'nt been so for about 15 years, so its just hard for me to believe we'll get 15 songs that are just made to be radiohits and poppy. Quote
tussy Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Hate the song, absolutely terrible. But.. if you listen carefully in the second verse, Mark plays some really nice bass chords which he definitely won’t be able to play live while singing. That’s the only positive I could draw from this heap of shite. Quote
