Lets be honest, you’re not listening to OMT as much as you were Neighborhoods.

There’s something about that natural touch to NH that ages better like wine than the heavy processing on Cali/9/OMT/2.

I still listen to OMT and pt 2 quite a bit because the songs are fun and catchy, but that is a huge difference for me, long term

hire a better producer, non-poppy. Travis & Feldmann are both hip hop/pop and attention seekers. Rubins are too ‘spacey’ or w.e, not super exciting either. The song writing teams is not blink to me either. Who produced the last Alkaline album??  Just cut back to the basics, Finn was only so good at the extras because it was subtle and leagues above Feldy/Trav.

Cameron Webb. Could be a good one. Dudes done some of the best and a log of the worst stuff recorded. Which is impressive.

Last week I read the longest interview ever where NOFX explained why they broke up (because Fat Mike is unmanageable and he's going to die soon if he doesn't stop with the drugs) and among all other things they criticized the production on First Ditch Effort, the album they did with Webb.

That was such a great article.

The longest interview I've ever read I think, it took me more than an hour to read it but it was really great.

Yeah, I felt bad for the other guys because obviously they don't have the extra money that came from owning Fat Wreck and are now losing their touring income. But I'm appreciative of them laying this all out there, even if it's ugly.

6 years on dope was an excellent song and the production on that album is fine, bring him on.  I like his discography quite a bit actually.  I can’t go another round of the heavily compressed/heavily processed, tricks and in your face production.

Through OMT on yesterday and the good songs are still great. Some have definitely fallen off though for me. Blink Wave was a stand out originally and now I could care less

I too could care less but I don’t care enough to care less so I don’t. Also, I through a ball threw the window.

I mean it's really not though.  I try to like everything Tom touches, am a self-proclaimed Tombot.  But it's just not that good, it tried, maybe too hard, to be what it is trying to be.  The vocals are dreadful (thanks Travis).  The guitars are good that's about it.
