So I get dealt my hand and it’s a 2 and a 3. I says to the dealer, ‘hit me’ and I get a 6. ‘One more time’, I say, tapping on the table. Get dealt a 4. Again, tapping on the table I said ‘one more time’. This time a Jack. Fucking bust.

Played blackjack one time against this guy. He ended up with 21 constantly and I got like 22 og 23 mostly. So I beat him 22-21 og 23-21 almost every round.

Excited for new blink music as always, just wonder when it's exactly coming out other than end of August like Mark said a while ago?

Now you have me thinking of that Britney Spears song "Hit Me Baby, One More Time"

i really really like cut me off, but see you was perhaps the worst, most half-baked song they've ever made with tom (and that includes neighborhoods clunkers like love is dangerous). i'm cautiously optimistic... cali DLX was mostly stuff that should've been left on the cutting room floor.

If Fell In Love made the cut it really does make you question what was left

Cut Me Off would be a top half song on the actual album if it had made the cut, no pun intended

Cut Me Off is so inherintly bad…trash. At least See You has kind of a little bit of catchy guitar work in it. Either way, neither of those songs sound like they were written or performed by blink-182. Throw em in the trash!

I liked blink when they wrote and performed their music live. Just watched a video of them at Sofi, Tom isn’t even playing the guitar for Feeling This or Rock Show, he was all over the fretboard and none of it was what you hear coming out the speakers. So sad! I know you don’t care about those kind of things, but there was a time when blink fans did

Either way, Cut Me Off is utter garbage

Riiiiight, because the only people who actually care about wanting to see actual live music when they pay over $200 for tickets are 16 year olds…and people who actually want to see people play music are the ones who are “trying to be cool”, not the little posers who don’t care if someone is playing or not just long as Tom has a cool outfit on 😂

where did you get this take from, your Daddy Elon’s website?

I've actually never heard anyone give much of a shit about this except you

Because you live here in your safe space. There’s a whole plethora of people that actually care about wanting to see people actually play live. Not going to have this discussion again. Go on and rock out to your Taylor Swift and Cut Me Off…probably written by Taylor’s writers ffs 😂

see you is truly bad -- it's like a frankenstein of the better songs on the record. it less successfully utilizes the same rhyme structure as cut me off ("i'll see you anyway"/"need you to cut me off"). the ending of the bridge works better in blink wave ("you'll never find me at all"/"the last ten days of my life"). it's boring and slow and moves drudgingly along at a plodding pace. the lyrics are trash ("the witching of your hour" is bottom-tier tom). part of me wonders if it was one of the first tracks they worked on because it feels like the three of them getting in a room and hacking out the worst first attempt they could muster.

cut me off instead has energy. the verses wisely change things up, the drums have an interesting mix between electronic and live (plus the memorable cowbell), and the production is way less harsh and loud than the rest of OMT. it's got some cool keyboard effects in the bridge and it's catchy as all hell. it really should've made the album to begin with IMO
