immensely excited for this. dan ozzi wrote that great book sellout a few years back about the 90s punk explosion. i was surprised to see a ghostwriter considering how voracious of a reader mark is, but i suppose it will only make his story better. it's 400 pages according to the listings which is pleeeeenty of room to get into his story. i love the cover art and how it harkens back to the untitled colors but also the sex pistols sort-of imagery. and i think the title is truly hilarious -- it couldn't be better. so excited!

I actually enjoyed Travis’ book quite a bit, but he went out of his way to galvanize the image he wants people to have of him (understandable, but I just happen to find that image cringe in a lot of ways). His personal general audience is different than the average blink fan.

I think this has a chance to be a much deeper and relatable story and should have a lot of stories and random tidbits we haven’t heard.

I wasn’t interested in Trav’s book. If Tom wrote a book I’d probably be into it but skim a lot of the To The Stars crap.  This actually seems like it would be interesting from start to finish, so I’ll definitely be going out of my way to read this. Mark’s just full on blink-182 and a super relatable guy.

I feel like we’ve said this about Mark so many times and it just rarely happens anymore lol.

Happy to be surprised now, but not holding breath it’s not largely surface level.  Hearing about the old days will be fun regardless.

Mark is the most PR friendly of the three, I doubt there’s gonna be much inside controversy to any of it.
