I tell you I'm not ready if this is a sad song about Mark's health

That would be intense, but I do genuinely hope they go there on this album. That alone would indicate to me that this isn't just another Enema or TOYPAJ album.

I would welcome that but considering how insipid "Happy Days" is I don't have much hope.

Happy Days is great! Better than 95% of Untitled

Right! I was like, “so you don’t want them to make an album on par with their 2 best albums? Got it.” Lol

They don't blow, I'm just not interested in another one of those albums at this point, not when I know what else these guys are capable of.  Give me another Dude Ranch, Untitled, or even Neighborhoods any day.  And I still really want to see the sound of Dogs Eating Dogs expanded upon into a full album.

This board sometimes.  Guess I'm just out of touch.

You aren't out of touch lol, we just have different tastes. I know the late 90s and early 2000s pop-punk sound has come back in full force. So I get why people would be amped on the idea of more music like that again. But I dunno, I'm really just not feeling the resurgence on that sound all that much. It will always have a special place in my heart but I've long since moved on from that being my favorite go-to sound in music, be it from blink or anyone else. I still love those albums to this day, but they now rank below for me: Untitled, Dude Ranch, Neighborhoods, and Dogs Eating Dogs.

Happy Days fucking sucks, probably one of the worst Skiba era songs and there is a LOT of competition.

I think Happy Days is pretty good, nothing groundbreaking but a nice little tune

I would argue the song would actually prolong depression. it's that bad.

It's fine. Definitely one of the weakest Nine songs, but I think I'll always remember it for the quarantine music video they put together for it. That thing is a nice little time capsule.

It's certainly not better than 95% of Untitled though, that's absurd. I mean I guess I'd agree that it's better than The Fallen Interlude (which for the record I've always enjoyed), but I think that's the only song from that album I'd really give it the edge over.

I will never understand the hate for this song. I love everything about it, including the video. It came to me during a dark time to so maybe that had something to do with my love for it, I dunno

Makes sense, you just wanted to feel happy days (happy days).

It’s got an Adam Ant aesthetic to it that I really like so I love the music but I’m not a fan of the lyrics or backing vocals.

That jaws of life line really spoke to me, lol. It was like Mark was in my ear whispering to me that everything was going to be okay

Hopefully he makes a sequel called More Guns

Happy Days has good verses and a cool drum beat but the chorus is one of the most boring parts I've ever heard from blink. I get that it was trying to sound huge but it just doesn't sound huge like other blink songs that do a similar thing, like STFTK and Adam's Song. Even Bored to Death captures that vibe way better. The bridge of Happy Days also sounds boring. It just sounds like it was lazily planted there

No More Guns is a bop though

I enjoyed everything about Happy Days other than the title/chorus. The term Happy Days is just too synonymous with the show haha. I couldn't NOT think of Fonzie.
