Yeah I remember when those songs came out like it was yesterday. Everyone was very confused and disappointed, including on these boards. It took several weeks/months to "get" the album, it was such a shock.

My very first album listen was an illegal stream from a link on the main page of blink online with every individual song

Remember when MTV streamed it the week before? The second i found a download link couldn't help but burn that shit to a cd.

I really don't remember how early it leaked on here, was definitely way before the release because by the time I got the album I had already heard it a million times.

I had listened to Feeling This so many times I just assumed the entire album would be exactly like that. In reality that was the only song on the entire album that linked to TOYPAJ in any way

I can easily imagine how Untitled wouldn't have been welcomed with open arms. It's probably similar to how hardcore fans of the band thought when they first heard Enema come out.

The label is watching discord and missing out on the real deal: the blink182online Led Zeppelin era, 2003 music piracy, Jan ranking the albums one last time as a self soothing exercise before the new song comes out.

Oh yeah Feeling This i had over played like mad thanks to the Madden game that year. I don't think I was posting here at that time. I was pry over on Punkdisasters at the time. But i for sure remember MTV stream it a week early.

Everyone I knew was obsessed with it - the emo thing really took off at our school.

I just remember getting the disc after listening to Feeling This 1,000 times and loving every second of it.  

 

But Dammit + Josie/Enema/TOYPAJ only listened to for fun, loved them as well, a favorite band, but weren't my favorite band until Untitled.
