I feel like white crosses is the most accessible one but you’re into your punk stuff a lot so Reinventing Axl Rose or The Eternal Cowboy would be right up your alley.

I feel those were overlooked by me initially since I used to only play TDB and Axl, but damn they're catchy. Or the live album 23 Sex Acts Live? Now that's a great set-list. High pressure low is great, the whole White Crosses album is overlooked by a big portion of the fan base for it not being punk enough or whatever. 2 hours ago, daveyjones said: just checked my archive; i have searching for a former clarity and new wave but i don't think i've listened to either in forever. i don't think they made much of an impression. any other recommends? White Crosses (album). And black me out (song). Also 333 (song) and 12: 03 (song). The song I discovered them by was Rice and Bread which is this libertines type of song

They have a sonically and thematically diverse discography, but I wouldn't recommend you Searching and New wave. Their first two albums are all energy and righteous anger, you might like them, but you also have to check Transgender Dysphoria Blues because it's quintessential. It's completely different from Reinventing Axl Rose and Eternal Cowboy, but it's just as punk as they are because it's very raw lyrically and musically. Laura really puts all her emotions out there in a very beautiful way.
Patient #48273
I was on a real Against Me! kick back in February/March, but I haven't listened to them a whole lot since, so like a lot of people in this thread, I'm going to have an AM! weekend.
Thibaut182
I wish that the technology of drum cams existed back in the 90s, would have definitely enjoyed seeing some Blink shows from 1994-1998 with Mr "Mad Dog" Raynor's perspective!
Speedo
Yeah, totally, I love watching drums played with no context, that's a great angle!
Bucko
Had a dream last night that Tom was announced back in Blink and it was announced as one last tour. There was also a board behing them which had "+44 album 2 2022" and boxcar album 2 2022 written on. So there you go. Enjoy the next couple of years all x 1

He replied to someone about a blink/trio split just a week ago and has posted a few photos and tagged blink-182 in them since the incident with the bigoted homophobe. Assuming of course that is the incident you’re talking about.

Speedo
Anyone else remember when bands only had newsletters and fan clubs? Social media is a cess pool and a bummer.
Kay
Idk I like that Skiba is unfiltered on social media, and calls people out on bullshit. this isn't the first time. It's a little childish but it's at least honest which is more than what we see from the rest of the blink camp.
Strings_anus
Matt is definitely not the type of guy you could throw a beer on stage to and he'd drink it. A lot of blink fanbase are like that. Nothing wrong with that, just more or less why Alkaline Trio is different from blink and why Matt fits there better. Also not referring to the homophobe guy.. Like obviously this is some wasteful stupid post by some random fan, but to even comment back, and comment THAT back and then screenshot and share it? We're talking some random kid who can change, and he's calling him an asshole? If Matt had any maturity he'd make another post about gay rights doubling down NOT singling out and enticing harassing this kid even if he's a homophobe, who knows if that was even the context he anticipated (it likely was) but still, need to have more restraint as the adult. At least that's my take. 1
Ry-Bread
I absolutely LOVE that Skiba calls out people on social media, he gets shit from trolls on every single post, put them in their place plz. And for true assholes like this one, screenshot and expose further! Some clown saying blink fans don’t like the rainbow flag? Gtfo.

Anybody spreading hate like that especially when all Matt posted was something supporting equal rights for everybody deserves to be called out for being a piece of shit. The “kid”( he doesn’t honestly look that young to me but whatever” needs to learn to not be such a Cunt and obviously whoever is meant to be teaching him that isn’t doing a proper job so I actually have a lot of respect for Skiba for calling him out. It’s very much deserved imo. If I was at a pride rally in real life and saw/heard someone say or act like that id call them out for being a piece of shit, why should social media be different?
