Both are really good from the first listen. That bridge on More Than You Know is the kind of sound i really dig and its really different from the other parts.

Solid songs, I have a feeling this might be their greatest record. But we'll see. Its good seeing the 3 of them having a good time on a personal level and creatively also. This all feels so much better than the Neighborhoods era.

Also, Did anyone hear that volume change in the beginning of the lyric video for MTYK. How do they or their team miss stuff like that and fuck up an exported file and still upload it. Thats kind of weird tho

Ha I thought it was a glitch with my AirPods.

 

i mean the chorus after the first verse of I Really Wish I Hated You has a too fast of an eq sweep/filter automation change so you hear a little chirp. Give me that Pro Tools session and I could fix it instantly.

So far so good. These two songs are so much better than "Edging".

I actually like some of those corny "One More Time" lyrics in the context of the whole thing. I'd only change the verse after the first chorus...

But, damn, that chorus is magical. Tom's enunciation there sounds like Untitled Tom. Never thought I'd see the day.

Watched the video again outside the first listen. Such a good treatment. The last 40 seconds of the old clips concluding with the ending bell and the three of them walking down the street is so good.

That’s why I always delete all audio and reimport before rendering any videos

It's funny, I've listened 3 times and the "I miss you" at the end messes up my brain, I keep expecting them to refrain the full chorus.
