Popular Post Elisa Posted June 3, 2021 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2021 The other day Enema of the State turned 22 and yesterday I listened to it front to back for the first time in a couple of years. Every time I hear Dumpweed, or any other song, it just brings me a very specific sense of enjoyment. It makes me think of the first time I listened to the album and of all the times I listened to it laying on the floor in my bedroom when I was younger. I was nottttt ready for A) all this nostalgia; B) how much I can still love it as an adult; C) thinking about the actual impact that the album has had on my life. If it wasn't for EOTS (and all the music blink exposed me to) I would be a completely different person. Kinda trippy when I sit and think about it. 11 1 Quote

Kinda trippy when I sit and think about it. I've thought about this before. Very weird. blink-182 influenced me in so many ways growing up. They majorly influenced my music taste, the clothes I wore, and my sense of humor. They inspired me to make music and play shows, and I made a lot of great friends playing shows. Plus some of the best friends I have in real life are because of our shared love of blink. And that's not even counting all of my friends on here and all the years I've spent posting on a blink-182 fan forum! Strange to even think about how my life might have been different without blink-182. 6 1 Quote
